Welcome to our wedding site! We’re happy to share this exciting time with you and have created a space that shares everything you need to know about our big day. We will be updating this site periodically, so be sure to check in every now and then!
11/8/2022: Wow! The forecast is looking chilly for Saturday (50deg high - but nice and sunny)! We are still trying to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside. The reception is indoors. We will have hot coffee, hot chocolate, and hand warmers available before the ceremony. There will be space heaters during cocktail hour, and if it is getting too cold the inside reception area will be open. 11/6/2022: We've updated our "Schedule", "Travel", and "FAQs" pages with additional shuttle, ceremony, and reception detail. Please take a look!
Erik and Chelsea met in 2016 at a mutual friend’s birthday celebration in Hollywood. Erik impressed Chelsea with his Harry Potter phone background and Chelsea wowed Erik with her list of things to do in Los Angeles. Erik requested a tour guide for his last L.A. hurrah (before he ended his two-year work stint in California) and Chelsea graciously accepted. So, a few weeks later, on Erik’s very last day in California, he packed up his car and drove west. Some may conclude that he was driving the wrong way to New England. Erik would argue that the long way home was indeed the right choice. Chelsea and Erik met up in Downtown L.A. at Grand Central Market for the first stop of Chelsea’s tour. Erik struggled to hide his picky palate when he received the wrong order, but Chelsea gave him some of her bacon and all was well. After seeing the Bradbury Building and Angels Flight Railway, they made their way to The Last Bookstore. They spent hours walking through the literary wonderland, talking about everything and nothing. And the conversation did not stop there. In fact, it continued via phone during Erik’s weeklong road trip across the country. That amazing week blossomed into a relationship that scattered countless memories across Boston, California, New Hampshire, West Hartford, and beyond. After six wonderful years, Chelsea and Erik find themselves living in the space-tacular city of Huntsville, Alabama. They are especially excited to share their love and the city they currently call home with all of you. We can’t wait for y’all to visit!
