Lots to see and do, with historical sites (live blacksmith), shops, and food
Jenny’s favorite place in the world - and called “world famous” for a reason! The level of conservation innovation is astounding and replicated by zoos across the world. The attention to detail and focus on animal welfare is so heartening and impressive. If you’re going to a zoo, this is the only one worth your time, frankly.
Established in 1868, a national landmark loaded with beautiful architecture and an array of museums. AND the site of the 1915 Panama-California exposition. There’s so much to see and do, we decided to get married there - but we’re only doing that in a tiny corner of this glorious place, so definitely check out the rest!
More of an “observing beach” rather than sunbathing or swimming, it belongs to the sea lions and pelicans, it’s quite a site to see.
Plenty to do and see, including kayaking into the sea caves!
