We first crossed paths at the City Museum during a Halloween party in 2021. Cole had just moved back to St. Louis from Denver that summer, while Alex was living in Soulard. Halloween fell on a Sunday that year, and neither of us were particularly excited about going out—Cole had just finished lacrosse practice, and Alex had attended back-to-back weddings that weekend. Luckily, being young 20-somethings with boundless energy and a serious case of FOMO, we decided to go to the party anyway. After a few drinks and some ear-ringing DJ sets, we were introduced by a mutual friend (thanks, Sam!) in the skate ramp room. Cole was sporting a banana hat, and Alex was dressed as Cruella de Vil, complete with a black and white wig and a dalmatian (her roommate, Bryce). As we chatted, we discovered that Cole worked with one of Alex's best friends—shoutout to our officiant, Kellie! The rest, as they say, is history. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone at our reception at the City Museum—the very place where our story began!
