Wedding Party

Meagan Beach DiSalvo

Matron of Honor

Meagan is my older sister, and naturally, my first friend. We have been each other's allies and pals through my entire life. Meagan and her husband, Dillon, have three kids, Astrid, Cormac, and Sloane, being an aunt to them is one of my favorite jobs. My favorite memory with my sister is when we went to a "Harry Potter Birthday Party" hosted by our favorite book store in Annapolis to celebrate the book's anniversary. Come to find out the party was for children and we were the only adults participating without a kid. I should've known it was odd when the RSVP asked for the child's age. Meagan is a talented baker and will be making our wedding cake!

Mary Catherine Avey

Maid of Honor

MC and I met in our athletic training learning community at UNCW. We took at least three classes together every semester for all of college. We became fast friends as we became each other's lab partner and study buddy through our program. We then went to USC together and were roommates, there, MC and Michael also became friends! My favorite thing about MC is that she has become one of my most constant cheerleaders. We have experienced all of our adult life together and have seen each other through so much change and we remain besties. Catch us tearing up the dance floor on wedding day.

Kevin Glotfelty

Bridesman

Kevin and I met in a summer class before the start of our freshman year in high school. He wore suspenders to class, and I (in 2011) thought that was the coolest thing a person could do. I came home and made the declaration to my family that this "suspender kid" will be my best friend, and the rest is history. We were inseparable for most of high school and have always been good about making time to see each other when home for breaks and holidays, always picking up like we left of like no time has passed. Kevin is another member of my family at this point, he attends most Thanksgiving's and was even in my sister's wedding! I'm so thankful that he will be standing on my side for our wedding.

Charlene Zook

Bridesmaid

Char is my cousin! Her and I were born 6 weeks apart so we have always been very close. She is my built in buddy at family events. At these events, you can find us either laughing, consoling, or going on a gossip walk. Char has the best brain, she is wildly creative and handy, she is able to make something that could save our lives in the woods seemingly out of nothing. Our family usually hikes a lot on vacations, my favorite thing about Char is that she is somehow able be one of the leaders while we hike, giving directions and warnings, but she is also able to support those falling behind, always willing to lend a hand or point out an uneven rock.

Mary Zook

Bridesmaid

Mary is also my cousin! Mary is true joy and thoughtfulness in a person. She is one of the most supportive and encouraging people you will ever meet and is always there to help you stand your ground and will always support for the underdog. (This becomes very funny during silly family disagreements.) She is also so crafty, from clay magnets to crochet headbands, I have benefited greatly from this quality. I have had the pleasure of having her as my Secret Santa more than once and she always gives the sweetest and most intentional handmade gifts. Catch her probably hyping someone up at the wedding. (If you're lucky, maybe it'll be you.)

Ella Kozar

Bridesmaid

Ella is the youngest of my cousins and she is the coolest kid I know. She keeps me in the loop with what the kids are doing these days, always willing to share music and beauty products with me. She is goofy, honest, positive, and so easy to love. She is also an extremely talented dancer! I have loved watching her grow as a person and a dancer over her life and I can't wait to see how she continues to amaze us as she makes her way through high school.

Mike Miller

Best Man

Mike and I met during our time in the athletic training program at Penn State. We shared countless memories working the women's soccer preseason enjoying music, gator rides, and Cafe trips (iykyk). Rumor has it, he's confessed that I helped nudge him to ask out his now wife, Meg, a player on the women's soccer team at the time. It has been a joy to watch their relationship bloom. I was lucky enough to be a groomsman for him and am honored to have him next to me as my best man!

Joey McShea

Groomsman

Joey and I have been friends since preschool. One of my favorite childhood memories is walking into the McShea home with hugs, food, and some sort of game with Joey and his 6 siblings. It always felt like a second home and Joey like a brother to grow up with. We stayed close after his family moved to Philadelphia to start high school but got to share senior year together grabbing Wawa on our way to school every morning. Joey and Annie's wedding was the only McShea sibling one I was invited to but always managed to crash the rest. If you see a McShea on the dance floor, you know it's a party

Erin Palm

Groomswoman

Erin is my middle and favorite sister. She was always my partner in crime growing up which led to plenty of fun and screaming matches over the dishes. I have always been able to depend on her through our years at home and at school, being able to spend time in high school and college together. Whether laughing about an Office reference or trying to annoy each other, I have loved having a built-in buddy to grow up with and am honored to have her on my side while I marry my new partner in crime

Kelsey Palm

Groomswoman

Kelsey is my oldest and favorite sister. Being six years younger, I have been able to learn from her as she trail blazed her own path through life, marrying her high school sweetheart and traveling the US together as they started their family. Her strong-willed determination has shined through everything she does as a wife, mother, and sister. She has always led by example creating an impact on those around her, even when we were younger. I am honored to have her on my side as we start our family!

Fernando Zuniga

Groomsman

Fernando and I met through his girlfriend, Kat, who was my co-captain on our THON Communications committee that worked the office desk with me during our senior year. Within 10 minutes of meeting one day, Fernando and I were new best friends. His energy and sense of humor was a perfect match and believe he started coming to the office to hang out with me more than Kat. I fondly referred to them as my "front porch" couple for when we grow old and play board games together but was still waiting to find my porch partner. I am honored to have Fernando with me to initiate the last member of our porch crew.
