For our Welcome Happy Hour we are going to embrace the season of JOY and encourage all to wear a fabulous holiday sweater! For the ceremony and reception the attire is semi-formal. Military uniform is Service Dress Blues or equivalent.
The wedding ceremony is taking place at the United States Naval Academy Chapel. The reception will be held at the Officers' Club which is right next door. It is a quick and easy walk measured in number of steps, even on a cool crisp winter day.
The Chapel runs a very tight ship when it comes to wedding schedules! Guest seating begins at 12:40 PM. Chapel doors will close at 12:55 PM with NO exceptions. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM.
Security protocols will be updated as we are informed by USNA. Please check back here for any updates! There may be specific forms that will be required and we will keep you updated! Entering through GATE ONE is your best option. A list of our guests will be provided to security but every guest must have a REAL ID in order to access USNA.
There is church parking in a parking garage near the Officers' Club. However, all cars must vacate the yard by 2 AM and therefore we encourage guests who plan on toasting with more than one glass to Uber or ride share to Gate ONE and walk onto the yard.
Yes. All festivities are adult only.
Our time on the Yard at the Officers' Club does have an end time of 7 PM. But that does not mean the party has to end! For those that are still in a toasting kind of mood Main Street (which for most is walkable) has a fantastic selection of pubs that we can hop along in our wedding attire and keep the celebration going!
