We met the old-fashioned way—at a bar on a random night in Corpus Christi, Texas. At the time, Paige was working hard in nursing school, and Wyatt was navigating the challenges of Navy flight school. Neither of us expected that an ordinary night out would turn into the beginning of our story. What Paige didn't know was that the conversation started with a bet. Wyatt's friends challenged him to see if he could walk over and talk to the cute girl across the bar for more than 60 seconds. Armed with little more than confidence and questionable strategy, Wyatt walked up and asked: "What's your favorite sandwich?" Not exactly a textbook pickup line, but it did the trick. What began with a random encounter, a friendly bet, and a question about sandwiches has grown into a partnership that we cherish every day. Now, we are thrilled to be tying the knot in Annapolis, a city that holds special meaning and reflects an important part of Wyatt's Navy journey.
