The Wedding Website of Paige Ryterski and Tony Contri
You're all a big part of our lives which means food, drinks, and entertainment are likely a big part of your lives, as well - that is exactly why we chose Hard Rock Riviera Maya as our wedding destination! Hard Rock offers some of the best tastings we have had when it comes to all-inclusive resorts. And yes, that's right - Hard Rock Riviera Maya is an all-inclusive resort, meaning, all food and premium booze is included in your stay! In addition to great food and drinks, this resort will keep you amused from morning until night with the activities offered, including non-stop live entertainment, swim-up bars, zip lining, a hidden sushi bar, an underground nightclub, a waterpark, and of course, a breathtaking beachfront! Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more information, advice, and travel tips relating to our experiences at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya.

Travel Tips

Get those Passports ready!! Right now travel.state.gov is quoting about 3 months for passports with an option to expedite it to 2 months for and additional $60 fee. We would recommend applying at least 6 months in advance to be safe. To Check-On or not to Check-On? If you are in the great debate, please note that Cancun airport can take up to an hour for both baggage claim and checking-on luggage. There could be up to another hour when you arrive back in the US. (Bonus Tip: If you are a frequent traveler, this is the perfect opportunity to apply for Global Entry. It took us 2 minute to get through customs when we were back in the US with Global Entry!)

Dining Tips

Where to even begin? So many delicious options! You're going to need to make reservations ahead of time for all restaurants except for "The Market" which is a buffet style restaurant (Bonus Tip: Make your reservations the day before for more options). We absolutely recommend Toro, Ciao and Le Petit Cochon. We found Los Gallos to be a more of a culinary experience for Mexican Cuisine, whereas Frida will have your more familiar options like fajitas, quesadillas and tacos. Zen offers a great Teppenyaki experience, but be prepared for a 2+ hour dining experience. Our favorite find was a walk-up sushi bar located in the Heaven Lounge -- it's open all day which makes it a great option for mid-day snacking. Room Service is available 24/7 and offers different menus throughout the day. (Bonus Tip: Make sure to try an Espresso Martini when you get the chance!)

Resort Map

Here is the layout of the land and few areas we would like to highlight: Waterpark (#58) 4 different waterslide experiences. Great entertainment for a couple hours but probably wouldn't spend the day here. Underground Nightclub (#44) Only open on Friday and Saturday nights from 11pm-2am. Features 2 hot tubs and a pool! New Pool (#50) This was currently under construction in 3/2022 but will be completed by the wedding. Think Las Vegas meets Mexico! We plan on spending most of the week here!! Ziplining (#26) A modest Zipline that sends you right into the lagoon Adults Only Pools & Beaches (#30, #32, #33 #35, #36)

Covid Testing

Covid testing as of 3/20/2022: You do not need to test to get into Mexico, but ae required to test to get back into the States. The resort offers free testing, which takes place 24 hours prior to the time of your return flight. As of now, you have to make an appointment to get the test. We recommend the best time of day is 4pm to avoid any wait-time. We will be sure to revise this information accordingly with government requirements as the trip approaches.
