Wedding Party

Ruby Connelly

Maid of Honor

Ruby is Paige's best friend. They've been close since they were about 7 years old, but they got really tight in middle school. They grew up at All Souls and were both very involved in youth group and choir, plus they spent many summers together at Camp Takatoka. They both went to college in Colorado and made periodic trips to see each other despite living on opposite ends of the state. They've always valued their friendship and the time they get to spend together- they talk multiple times a day even though they live across the country from one another. They have the kind of friendship where they can get together and just fold laundry, run an errand, or take a nap. It's beautiful and Paige loves her very much.

Carly Costley

Maid of Honor

Carly is Taylor's younger sister. It's hard to boil down the entirety of their sisterhood into a bio on a website. They've always done everything together and (hopefully) always will. Despite being very different people, they are constantly adopting each other's personality traits and interests - from Big Brother and Broadway to their entire college experience and career paths. Carly is a lovable goof who will let nothing stop her - she is passionate, brave, and ambitious. Despite being the younger sibling, Carly is who Taylor looked up to most of her life - and we can't wait to see what she does and where she goes next.

Wil Clark

Bridesman

Wil is Paige's younger brother by 7 years (if you ask him), or by 8 (if you ask her)...(the math is actually 7.5 years, so, you decide). As a child, Paige spent YEARS begging for a younger sibling. When he finally came into the world, hers changed forever. She read to him, changed his diapers, walked him to school, and was as involved in his life as humanly possible. The hardest part of Paige leaving for Colorado College was leaving Wil- but, at ten years old and with help from their mom, he sent her letters, her favorite tea, and stale cookies from Old School Bagel with post-it notes about how much he loved her on a regular basis. She came home to see him as often as she could, and her love has only grown for him as he gets older, which she didn't even know was possible. He is funny, he is thoughtful, he is driven, and her love for him truly knows no bounds.

Christine Han

Maid of Honor

Christine is Taylor's best friend who stubbornly lives across the country. They met a month before grad school graduation, but were inseparable from that moment onward (mostly metaphorically because, as you'll remember from the previous sentence, Christine just HAD to move across the country). They talk every single day across multiple platforms - text, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook Messenger, TikTok, etc. They have more Co-Star compatibility with each other than with their spouses. Christine is Taylor's ride or die. She is painfully funny, more thoughtful than anyone could ever hope to be, and a ~calming presence~ in the lives of those she chooses to let in.

Jack Clark

Bridesman

Jack is Paige's youngest brother. He'll technically be a teenager by the time the wedding happens and honestly, that's really freaking her out. He was born a month before Paige graduated high school, and everyone tells them it's impressive that they're so close considering they lived in different states for more than half of his life and are so far apart in age. Paige disagrees. Nothing was easier for her than loving and keeping in touch with her brothers from wherever she was living. When she came home from New Zealand, Jack RAN and jumped into her arms and yelled "SISTERRRRR" (there's video proof) and it's moments like that, and like having him in her wedding, that she'll cherish forever. Not to mention- he's just generally the best kid ever (sorry everyone else).

Meagan Costley

Bridesmaid

Meagan is Taylor's youngest cousin. Despite being the farthest apart in age amongst the Costley cousins, Taylor and Meagan have grown closer and closer the past 10 years or so. Meagan is lovingly referred to as Taylor's "Homo Homie," a nickname they gave each other when they were both realizing they were queer at the same time (despite Taylor being in college and Meagan being in middle school). Meagan is a strong, fiercely independent person who makes her family proud every day. Meagan is indisputably one of the best people Taylor knows.

Caitlin Canty

Bridesmaid

Caitlin and Paige met during their freshman orientation at Colorao College, where they did wildfire management on a mountainside in Crestone, the weirdest place on earth. They bonded quickly and never let up on the gas. So many important milestones, triumphs, and tragedies have been shared between the two of them or at least witnessed by each other (a sacred role, in Paige's eyes), and Paige is so grateful for her. Caitlin is brilliant, hilarious, charming, kind, caring, and creative. Also- she will also be out-dancing everyone at the reception, so, jot that down.

Clint McKean

Bridesman

Taylor's twin (not really, but kind of??). Clint is Taylor's oldest friend who she shares a million connections with - born on the same day, in the same year, in the same city (Fort Worth, TX), in the same HOSPITAL GROUP, and then 11 years later Clint moved into Taylor's old house (which is when they officially met). Clint is the poster child for what it means to love unconditionally - he is a great person, friend, and hugger.

Nick Vandivort

Bridesman

Nick has been one of Paige's closest friends for many years. Nick has ALWAYS been there for her. Whether he's taking her to meet with her surgeon or dancing with her at her birthday parties, Nick has been a giant (literally, he's 6'5") of a friend in Paige's life. They became friends in middle school and then were inseparable in high school, where they were both in the speech and debate crew. Nick is thoughtful and kind, but perhaps most importantly, he doesn't let Paige get away with any of her bad ideas (the motorcycle thing was just a phase, ok). Nick is the best and she's so happy he'll be up there with her on this important day.

Lauren McKean

Bridesmaid

LAUREN!!! Another one of Taylor's high school friends who also happens to be married to Clint. Lauren is bold, kind, loyal, and a hell of a lot of fun. Lauren's the kind of person that can turn your mood around in the blink of an eye, just by the sheer amount of joy that she naturally radiates. She cares deeply about her people and we're all better for it.

Grace Weber

Bridesmaid

Grace is everything to Paige. Their parents, grandparents, and siblings have known each other for many decades, and Grace and Paige consider themselves family. Their first day of fifth grade (which was a new school for Paige), Paige, who had been told Grace would be there, walked up to Grace and said "I'm Paige, you're Grace, do you want to come spend the night at my house?" and the rest is history. Their friendship is epic. It crosses time and space and is the purest form of what true friendship can be if you put the work in and the stars also align juuuuuuust right. They're friends, but they're family. It doesn't get better than that.

Will Turner

Bridesman

Will and Taylor met in grad school at TU during a group project for an IT audit class. They've been weirding other people out together ever since. There aren't really words in the English language that could adequately describe Will. But if forced to try: Will is funny, off-the-wall, unafraid to push the boundaries, and despite his best efforts to (jokingly) portray otherwise, a very caring and invested friend.

Alexis Vandebogart

Bridesmaid

Alexis and Paige have been friends since they were 2 years old in their Mother's Day Out program. They lived down the street from each other in preschool and kindergarten and stayed friends at every stage of their lives. Alexis quite literally taught Paige how to tie her shoes, and Paige is still learning from her to this day. She's so lucky to have had such a supportive and thoughtful friend for so many decades, and is beyond excited to have her up there with her on this important day.

Ryder Parker

Bridesman

Sweet Ryder is another of Taylor's high school friends. They've been through a lot together and have no trouble picking up right where they left off, even if they haven't talked in a minute. Ryder is hysterically funny in a very fun/wacky/zany way. He's also very passionate about his work, his values, and his friendships. You can't NOT have a good time when you're around Ryder.

Jennie Wachowski-Estes

Officiant

Paige's REALLY good friend from graduate school, and she has SUCH good theology it'll blow your mind. When Taylor suggested to Paige that Jennie be the officiant, they both jumped up and down with excitement. Obviously, she was the best choice. Paige was hanging out with Jennie, her spouse Nat, and their two beautiful children one night, and Jennie said, casually, "who's officiating?"- as if we would've asked anyone else other than Jennie.
