Shane and Paige met the in summer of 2020. We both were working for the Oregon Department of Forestry as wildland firefighters. Through the summer we became close friends as something else beneath the surface was emerging. By the end of the summer the feelings were clear and by October, we were officially dating. Our relationship faced the test as the first 7th months, Paige was student teaching in Eastern Oregon which was 7 hours away. But we made it work and made the drive as often as we could to see each other. From there, so many special memories have been made. 2020 will always hold a special place in our hearts when we met each other and our future began.
