Matron of Honor
Paige's Best Friend We met while I was working at Shear Joy. She quickly befriended me for my talent for doing hair. Who doesn't want a hairstylist as a best friend? Our relationship quickly grew. She promptly persuaded me into going shopping after work one day, which ended up being multiple shopping trips once a week after work. Shopping trips turned into Beach and Pocono trips. Before we knew it, we were best friends. I was Chrissy's Maid of Honor, and of course, I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get her back for making me give a speech at her wedding.
Wedding Party Attendant
Paige's Cousin Christian and I have been kickin' it since day one. Our best pastime together was spent during summer break, when my grandfather babysat us. We used to swim all day long pretending we were mermaids and building American Ninja Warrior courses out of pool rafts and noodles. We have been on multiple family beach trips. We would walk down the beach pretending to speak a different language to each other, waiting to see if anyone would notice. Obviously, we were giant weirdos. Keep an eye out for Christian and me on the dance floor at the wedding. We'll be there all night.
Best Man
Peri's Twin I had the great opportunity to meet Tyler 27 years ago. Unfortunately, we couldn't understand each other at the time or even see one another. As the tale goes, we developed a bond, and one might say a unique one. We call it our twin telepathy. Throughout the years, Tyler has been by my side through thick and thin. Through tough challenges and overwhelming successes. I wouldn't be the individual I am without him. Due to Tyler's accident when he was younger, I wanted to become a nurse, and this past year I have completed part of that journey. He's always been my wingman throughout life, and I can't wait for him to be the best man at our wedding. Thanks for being the best fellow Spartan, Squad mate, Dualist, and brother I could have asked for.
Groomsman
I met Albert in middle school, right around when I met Paige. Albert was Tyler's friend due to us not having classes. Heck, even Albert went with Paige to the 6th-grade dance. I instantly saw why Tyler was such good friends with him; he made you laugh at any point in a conversation. He would also go out of his way to make sure that anyone felt included in something. Thanks to Xbox Live, we were able to make up for the lost time. He might live in a different time zone, but I couldn't ask for a better groomsman to be completing the squad.
Flower Girl
Peri and Paige's Neice Brynn is the flower girl! If you did not know this, then you must have been living under a rock because she's the most outspoken, attention-loving little ball of excitement that you probably will ever meet. Even younger, this girl never was a shy individual. She took the room with stride and always had a big laugh and smile after every word she spoke. Before we asked her, she told her mother that she is the flower girl, who does that besides her?!
Father of the Bride
My father is a man of many talents. To name a few, he is a mechanic, chef, handyman, artist, hiking guide, hero, and ski instructor. He may not be a professional at all of those things, but he definitely comes in handy when you're looking for help in any of those areas. He is pretty famous in my family for writing incredible speeches, so just be prepared for his toast. Get your tissues ready for him and yourself.
Mother of the Bride
If she looks familiar to you, it's because she is Smith School's Elementary Secretary. She's a big deal in Burlington. Sadly for Peri and Tyler, my mother and I also share a solid resemblance. Curly hair is our best feature. My mother and I share a love for cats, witches, succulents, and celebrity drama. When you see her at the wedding, try to convince her to get another cat, so I am not the crazy cat lady of the family.
Mother of the Groom
Katherine is the best mother a son could ask for. Growing up, we never had the newest toys or expensive brand clothes. She was a single mother raising all of us kids and making sure that she could complete college simultaneously. She is the strongest person I know, and to this day, she makes me proud to be her son. I might not know who the Beatles were due to her, but I know what it means to not give up on the people you care about and grow as a person. "You're going to figure it out; you always do" these are the words that she told me when I told her I was quitting my job to go back to school full-time. I graduated, and I thank her for pushing me. Unwavering love and support from her is the best gift I received growing up, and it is something that she continues to give to me.
Officiant
Paige's "God Mother" Patti was my hairstylist role model when I was working at Shear Joy. I used to sit and watch her do hair in my free time. I would never have thought that Patti would be such an important person in my life. A highlight I have with Patti is our trip to France together, and we have some fantastic stories from that trip. We meant an astronaut, Patti tried to ride a motorcycle, visited where her father had been in Normandy, and went to the Louvre. Just to give you an idea. When you see her at the wedding, ask her about the trip.
