We met in Junior School and dated on and off through 7th and 8th grade. Peri decided to follow me to Burlington County Institute of Technology freshman year. Unfortunately, I broke Peri's 14-year-old heart and decided to end things. He went back to Burlington City High School, and I stayed in Technical school. We didn't talk for 7 years until I decided I wanted to reach out. I always wondered what kind of man the nice boy who used to walk across Route 130 to surprise me at my parent's house had turned out to be like. I typed up a whole message to send to him but became too scared to send it. To my surprise, that same day, I ended up receiving a message from Peri asking me to go on a date. I couldn't believe it! After 7 years of not seeing or talking to each other, we were both on each other's minds on the same day. I knew this had to be a sign that this was meant to be. Obviously, I went on that date, and we would both say it turned out really well.
