The Ithaca Farmer's Market is an amazing market just outside of town. It is open every Saturday from 9 am - 3 pm and every Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm. This is a great place to try the amazing local food and explore the many local vendors and artists.

Taughannock Falls is one of the most popular state parks in Ithaca. It is a beautiful gorge with many hiking trails. It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Ithaca and 30 minutes from Lansing.

Ithaca Falls is a smaller gorge located downtown in Fall Creek. It is not recommended to swim in the water due to contamination but it is beautiful to look at and easy to get to from downtown.

Robert H. Treman is a beautiful state park that holds more of Ithaca's famous gorges. This park is more family friendly as it has a designated swimming area with a lifeguard. Treman is about a 15 minute drive from Downtown Ithaca.

Ithaca Beer Company is a great local brewery with multiple locations. One is located in Collegetown where Cornell University is located and the other larger location is about a 10 minute drive from downtown.

Collegetown Bagels is a great places to grab coffee, bagels or sandwiches. They have an extensive menu with many options. They are located right across the street from the downtown Marriott.

If you are willing to venture a little farther out of town, drive over to Seneca Lake to experience, in Paige's opinion, even BETTER wine! Recommendations include Red Newt Cellars (where Paige used to work), Two Goats Brewing, Lucky Hare Brewing Company, Forge Cellars, Hector Wine Company, Damiani Wine Cellars, Boundary Breaks Vineyard, Ryan William Winery and Atwater Vineyards.
