Paige and Parker technically met at Ithaca College in 2015 when Parker played guitar in a production of Hair in which Paige was performing. Paige and Parker never spoke during this time, but their mothers (both named Beth) discovered there was a family connection. Paige's mom's cousin, Ellen, happened to be best friends with Parker's mom, despite the fact that Paige's family lived in Massachusetts and Parker's parents lived in New York. This was an odd coincidence, so it felt like fate when Paige and Parker matched on Bumble six years later, in June 2021. They went on their first date on June 10, 2021, and then spent pretty much every day together for the rest of the summer. In August of 2021, Paige and Parker took a leap of faith when Paige followed Parker to Rochester to live with him while he finished his PhD at the Eastman School of Music. This was a bold decision since they had only been dating for two months, but it worked in their favor, and the two have been inseparable ever since. They lived together in Rochester for three years, during which time Parker swiftly assumed the role of loving dog dad for Paige's dog, Chanel. On June 8, 2024, almost exactly three years after their first date, Parker popped the question at a beautiful sculpture park in the Hudson Valley. Soon after, Paige and Parker began their quest to get as many free glasses of champagne as possible by telling restaurant servers, "We just got engaged!" Since they have been together, Paige and Parker have lived in three cities and three apartments, owned four different cars, attended two schools, and attended fifteen weddings together. After facing numerous difficulties associated with a 4-year PhD program, law school, work opportunities all across the state and country, as well as several moves, they are confident that they can overcome anything as long as they are together. They are looking forward to blending their families and are so excited to celebrate their love with all their favorite people! Let's party!
