Based on updated NYS guidelines, showing proof of vaccination or negative COVID test will not be required in order to attend our wedding. Additionally, per updated CDC guidelines, masks and distancing will not be required for those who are fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated but wish to forego masks and distancing, a negative COVID PCR test within 72 hours of the wedding day will be required.
If you require a negative COVID test in advance of our big day, please keep in mind that a PCR test is valid up to 72 hours before the event, but an antigen test is only valid up to 6 hours prior to the event. The following locations offer COVID tests near the Chautauqua Institute: CVS in Westfield, New York (both PCR and antigen testing) Multiple locations within Buffalo, New York and Erie, Pennsylvania
All guests are required to sign in before the ceremony or immediately upon arrival to our event. This measure is for contract tracing. You will be able to sign in at the hotel lobby starting 2 hours before the ceremony begins.
You will be asked to park across the street from the Main Entrance to the Institute. The hotel runs a shuttle that will pick you up from your car once it is parked and bring you to the hotel lobby entrance. If you are staying at the hotel, you may drop off your belongings at the hotel entrance before parking your car.
The Hall of Philosophy is located 0.2 miles away from the hotel, and the path between both locations will be marked to guide walkers. Additionally, starting at 3:00 pm on the day of the wedding there will be a shuttle running between the ceremony site and the hotel. The same shuttle will be available after the ceremony until 5:30
