We're getting Married!

Welcome to our wedding website, we can't wait to celebrate our special weekend with you! We've created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all of the important details with you in the lead up to our wedding. Just a friendly reminder that our wedding is a weekend affair! We will be officially married on July 3rd, but there will be an additional ceremony and the reception on July 4th. Paige's Story: It was the summer of 2013 at Benedictine University's Summer Fun Day Camp. We were both camp counselors. I was still coming out of my shell and Kanwer was the life of the party. I remember the first time I met him, he was hanging out with the Basketball Bros of BenU during camp orientation, cracking jokes. I was sitting at a table all by myself wondering what I got myself into. As camp went on that summer, Kanwer and I quickly became close friends and I knew that in some way he was going to be in my life forever. After camp, we still found ways to talk everyday and give each other life advice. By 2015, feelings developed. Kanwer was taking his sweet time making the move from friendship to relationship, so one night, I decided I had enough and just kissed him. That summer he asked me to be his girlfriend on my birthday. And 5 years later, he asked me to be his wife. Kanwer's Story: As Paige mentioned, we met in 2013 at Benedictine University. We met initially during counselor orientation, but she was quite reserved so we did not talk much at that moment. One day we were tasked to clean up after an activity that the kids had just completed and it was an opportunity for us to talk for once. The conversation started off with short replies on her end and me just talking a lot, however, she quickly got comfortable with me and we started talking more and more. I began realizing how special Paige is shortly after that through numerous phone calls, texts, hangouts, cooking adventures, burritos, and of course summer fun day camp escapades. I have grown so much over the past seven years and Paige is the reason for that - I love her and I cannot wait for all of you to celebrate with us soon!
