Who would have thought those online dating adds were true. Both Arthya and Paige took a chance they were and it worked out! Paige found Arthya's profile on the website first but ignored his adorable smile due to the 6 hour driving distance between them. But, when Arthya reached out a week later she couldn't say no twice. After months of FaceTime "dates" the two agreed to meet in Chicago for their first in-person date. October 24th, 2015 Arthya drove to Chicago and Paige boarded a train with two of her good friends - in case he turned out to be crazy. He was, in fact, crazy, but he was the perfect type of crazy to match Paige's. Together they spent the day exploring downtown Chicago and taking advantage of each moment they had together in person.

Separating at the end of that first day was one of the hardest things Paige has done and they spent another two years FaceTime-ing every night and enjoying a weekend together every two months or so. Each time they went their separate ways it got harder to say good bye so after two years Paige found a job in Arthya's Wisconsin town. Leaving Michigan was hard but being able to be together was worth it for Paige. The next part of their story together came one Sunday evening after Paige got home from a long day at her job. Flowers on the table and an meal being prepared, Paige was happy, thankful, and unsuspecting because it was just like Arthya. After some time talking and dreaming about the future Arthya held a ring in front of her face and asked a simple question with the world wrapped around it. Paige was speechless and in tears for about five minutes before she could finally say yes!

On July 6th 2019, in front of God, family, and friends, Paige and Arthya will promise to stand beside one another, supporting and loving each other all the days of their lives. On this day of celebration we would ask that you leave your phones off during the ceremony - our photographer will take care of any memory documentation - but otherwise we'd love your help documenting the reception! The Ceremony will be held at Camp Geneva at 4pm, in a chapel overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan. Between the Ceremony and the Reception at Alpen Rose restaurant there will be time to explore Holland's main downtown area. We encourage you to walk around and enjoy the fresh air fireplace or stop into one of the local breweries like New Holland and get a quick drink.
