We recommend booking your flights and accommodations early as prices tend to rise and rooms in Sorrento fill up fast in June. A flight Friday night, 6/12, is a great way to get settled in before the festivities begin. **Please check your passport expiration date!!!

🛬 Naples Airport (NAP) Naples is about an hour to Sorrento. From Naples you can take a train, ferry, bus, or taxi to Sorrento. 🚆 Rome Airport (FCO) Rome is about 3–4 hours to Sorrento. Fly into Rome, then take a train to Naples before continuing on to Sorrento. Flights into Rome are often less expensive than Naples but do require more logistics.

Naples → Sorrento From Naples, you have several options: 1. Ferry – Take the metro or a short taxi to the ferry port, then hop on a scenic ferry ride to Sorrento. 2. Campania Express – A tourist-friendly train from Naples to Sorrento with reserved seating and AC. 3. Bus – Available from the train station or the airport, with direct service to Sorrento. 4. Circumvesuviana Train – The most affordable, but is often very crowded with limited seated and no AC. Be warned- you may be standing for over an hour. 5. Taxi or Private Transfer – The most expensive but also the most convenient door-to-door option. For those who choose to fly into Rome, there are a few ways to get from Rome to Sorrento — choose your own adventure! Rome → Naples Once you arrive and get your luggage, head to FCO terminal 3. There you will take a short airport train ride, called the Leonardo Express, to Roma Termini. • Journey time: ~30-40minutes. • Frequency: about every 15 minutes Once you arrive at Roma Termini, you’ll transfer to a high-speed train bound for Napoli Centrale. • Travel time: 55–75 minutes • Train companies: Trenitalia Frecciarossa or Italo (both are modern and comfortable). Book in advance on italotreno.com or trenitalia.com. • Tickets: prices start at €15 if booked in advance; seats are reserved, and your ticket will show your car (Carrozza) and seat number From Napoli Centrale train station you can take any of the options noted above for Naples>Sorrento.

For the best experience, we recommend staying near the city center, where you’ll be within walking distance of our venue, Villa Zagara. Staying on the outskirts in the hills can be more peaceful, but often requires a taxi to get down into town. Most of the hotels listed below are centrally located near the main square, Piazza Tasso.
