In 2015, I was working full time and also in an intensive accounting program at Santa Clara University. The only time I could squeeze in salsa and bachata dancing was Monday nights at Neck of the Woods in San Francisco. The dance community would show up and dance at this two-level bar until 1 am. One night in the spring, a man who I had never seen before asked me to dance. He was an okay salsa dancer, but so fun! He was an awesome bachata dancer. Whenever we ran into each other, he would always ask me to dance and sometimes we would dance for an hour straight. During this time, I learned his name was Paco and he was from Puerto Vallarta and moved to the Bay Area on his motorcycle from Wyoming. Ten plus years later... he's still my favorite dance partner and also my partner in life and in love!
