Wedding Party

Our wedding crew who decided to honor our invite on board our train to mark the start of this beautiful ride called marriage.

Bami

Brother

Big Brother, Best Mate Closest in age and longest in life’s memories, Bami has been there through it all — from parlour wrestling matches to school days mischief, late-night laughs to lessons that stuck. More than just a brother, he’s my built-in best friend. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it — having him by my side today means the world.

Demi

Best Man

My son– The mature baby of the house — wise beyond his years and somehow always one step ahead (yes, even to the altar!). It’s no surprise he got married first, but now it’s my turn — and there’s no one I’d rather have beside me than him. Brother, best man, and lifelong co-pilot — honored doesn’t even begin to describe how it feels to have you here.

Leslie

Groomsman

A newer friend, but one that’s quickly rooting deep — forged over FIFA battles (yes, with me beating him always — don’t let him tell you otherwise), shared moments of spiritual growth, and dreams of future business deals. What started as a friendship is becoming brotherhood, and I’m truly glad to have him standing with me on this day.

Rhoro

Groomsman

A faithful friend and kindred spirit — from shared job roles to a shared love for God, maturity, and all the marks of true brotherhood. Rhoro has been a steady presence, the kind of friend you thank God for. And let’s just say… when my babe wondered if I had solid male friends, Rhoro was proof I was doing something right. Grateful is a word that describes how I feel.

Dave

Groomsman

A friendship where we clicked immediately. A work relationship turned deeper and became my bro for real. Dave has shown up in quiet, consistent ways — always checking in, always pushing for better. With business dreams ahead and brotherhood already blooming, he’s a real one. A good guy, a solid person, and yet another blessing from God during a time I truly needed more strong male connections.

Ashley

Groomsman

He may have started as Bami’s friend and brother, but it didn’t take long before he became the same to me. He is a real brother in every sense of the word. Ashley has gone above and beyond — making real sacrifices for my family, caring for our well-being even when we weren’t paying attention ourselves. From acting as landlord (yes, fixing things and handling bills like a pro) to saving me from my “carrots, fruits, and bread” diet with real meals — he’s been a blessing in every way. Including Ashley as a part of this wedding train crew wasn’t even a question. Thanks for everything brother.

Josephine

Sister of bride

My Twinnie, My big sister, We are closest in age and closest in heart. Josephine and I have always shared more than just a room — from matching clothes to matching friends, from knowing each other’s every thought to navigating life side by side. We’ve shared deep affection and just as many disagreements (as only sisters can), but through it all, she’s been my fiercest supporter and my most loving corrector. Jo has been a rock like no other, I cant believe I thought I wanted to be first born. You are undoubtedly my emergency call in any situation, we are different but yet moulded to be one in a way that is interesting. The short of this 30 year old story is if I had the choice to pick a sister, I’d choose her a thousand times over. Always her.

Omone

Sister of bride/Bridesmaid

My little sister who’s managed to bully me despite the years between us! But behind all that sass is a well of wisdom and a heart full of love. Always present when it counts, Omone shines bright — a star who lights up the room and keeps us laughing for days. My own personal banker in the U.S., always complaining first cos that is her love language but then she is so helpful, and kind. Hard guy, hard guy but so giving and loving. My soft girl, baby sis. I’m so glad she’s here in Lagos this moment to celebrate this special day with us. She would be the best handbag for this moment LOL I am also waiting for workings if Bey could see your workings, I know I am more precious (And whatever you just said now in response, I heard and dont let me catch you)

Tiwa

Maid of Honor

Through every high and low, Tiwa has been by my side — sticking closer as the years have passed. We understand each other like no one else, and she often carries my worries as if they were her own. She has laughed with me, cried with me, been a sugar mommy to me (haha!) and much more. There’s so much I’m grateful for, but today, I’m especially honored and excited that she’s chosen to stand beside me as my Maid of Honor — my best girl for this very special day. We still have so much to see and do in this life as besties, we would make this bar and do it allll. Tiwa, you are really a gem in my life for real. I dont play with my girllll at all.

Isioma

Bridesmaid

One of my longest and closest friends for over a decade, Isi and I have shared a bond that time can’t fade. We might not talk every day, but when we do, it’s like no time has passed. She always shows up — whether I really need her or just mention something in passing. Younger than me but wise beyond her years, Isi is so special that sometimes I wish I could carry her burdens for her. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover the way I feel fully. I could go on and on but biggest thing is my girl will not marry nonsense. She is an Ivy babe, I mean and her bar is stacking up. All aside, Isi, this friendship is real and here to stay. Guys, she came all the way skipping some time off Ivy league business school for this!

Faith

Bridesmaid

An unusual friendship. She was tagged to me as a first timer in church to call after her first visit but one of the most wholesome conversations that I had as a worker in the follow up unit in CCI. She loves God and it shows with how loving she is with helping and being intentional and supportive, a north star and a radiant beauty. She cares deeply for me and shows up a lot when it matters, and when I least expect it. She is my 2nd in command with church work affairs and a good friend and sister. Faith, my little sister oh so wise and full of joy, I am glad and honored you are on this train!

Aniekan

Bridesmaid

Anie and I go way back to secondary school, where we were close — then life took us different ways for a while. But when we became flatmates in 2021, it turned out to be one of the best years of my life. Living with her was pure and simple (none of those typical flatmate dramas you hear about, folks!). Our conversations flow—deep, honest, and always real. She’s a friend who keeps it easy and truthful, even when we don’t always agree in conversations. We both would end every conversation better and wiser. I’m so grateful she crossed one or two of the seven seas to be here today.

Regine

Bridesmaid

A friend who became family back in college, Regine is my personal “chale” — so down to earth, loving, and not shy at all, my no-nonsense friend (even tho she doesnt look like it). She never misses letting me know when she’s in Lagos, making sure we connect. From day one, she’s shown me unwavering love, and I’m truly grateful she made the journey all the way from Ghana to be here for this wedding.

Lola

Bridesmaid

Lola quickly became more than just a friend — she’s my adopted sister. She has shown up, time and time again, for every celebration and milestone. Easy to talk to, we laugh at the same things, think in sync, and she’s introduced me to some of the best shows I’ve ever watched. Her generosity and spontaneous spirit are easy gems in our relationship. Truly, a family friend for many days to come. She doesn't know this but we are very alike and I really do like her. Waiting on when we would go on our own U.K. trip o Oh — and by the way, we’re currently screening for a Brother in the Lord for her… CVs welcome!

Thaoban

Groomsman

Thaoban has been like a brother since our university days, young, brilliant, and always pushing me to level up with his talented self. Our bond runs far in time, with real conversations and mutual respect at the core. He’s the kind of friend who always shows up when it counts. Glad to have him by my side on this day.

Tomiwa

Groomsman

Tomiwa is my cousin and a true free spirit, full of positive energy and good vibes. He’s always checking in, showing love in quiet but consistent ways. Driven and ambitious, especially when it comes to the things he’s passionate about. Glad to have him as family and a groomsman on this special day.

Imaobong

Bridesmaid

Ima (like I call her) came into my life not long ago, but quickly became someone I deeply trust and cherish. We’ve walked through different seasons together, supporting each other in ways that feel like more than friendship. She’s fun to gist with, wise in her words, and always ready to talk things through even when it’s tough. We run a business together, and while it hasn’t always been easy, I love how we always find common ground. Beyond all that, she’s a major prayer partner and a true spiritual anchor in my life. I believe we’re each other’s destiny supply joint and I’m excited for the many years of friendship ahead. Applications are open in case you are interested. I am glad that at the final minute she made it to this train because it feels complete having her here now.
