Officiant
Richard is Jamie's uncle and Godfather. He has always been a huge part of Jamie's life, and, in fact, is the reason she loves football as much as she does. Sunday's after church were spent eating Aunt Lori's tuna sandwiches and napping while watching the Dolphins play. Richard loves the Lord and loves a good crowd. We are so thankful to have him part of our special day. Fun Fact: Richard gave Jamie her first sip of beer at 3 years old. There is a video of Jamie spitting out immediately and of course, Jamie's mom yelling at him.
Kristin Burgess
Maid of Honor
Kristin is Jamie’s best friend. They met at work in 2015 (seems to be a theme in Jamie’s life) and have been inseparable since they unknowingly wore matching outfits to the office. Kristin is thoughtful, patient, genuine and the calm to Jamie’s chaos. Kristin and Jamie have been through so many life events together and even though we are in separate parts of the country, there is no one Jamie would rather have standing beside her. Fun Fact: Kristin currently travels the country full time with her German Shepard, Koda and lives in a converted van!
Jacob Overman
Best Man
Jake is Ben's older brother and best friend. He and Ben have been almost inseparable for the last decade. Prior to that, he served in the US Air Force. Jake loves to travel, is major foodie and loves to try cooking and eating at new places all the time. We are lucky enough to tag along on those adventures quite often. Ben is truly thankful to have a brother like Jake to not only stand beside him, but look up to as well. Fun Fact: Ben was Jake's Best Man in his wedding as well.
Taylor Overman
Bridesmaid
Taylor is Jake's wife of about two years and she truly completes our "family." Jamie and Ben met Taylor after she and Jake had only been on a few dates. We went on a double date to our favorite local Mexican spot and got to know her over margaritas and queso. Taylor has the kindest soul and does not hesitate to help or offer words of encouragement when needed. She loves spending her free time in her and Jake's garden as well as mowing the grass. It has been a joy watching Taylor become a new momma and Jamie is so blessed to have her as a sister. Fun Fact: Jamie and Taylor's first "sister" date was doing goat yoga, something we still talk about to this day!
Lee Conant
Groomsman
Lee is Jamie's older brother and lives in Texas with his amazing wife, Pam, 4 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 3 grandkids. Lee has always been someone Jamie calls for advice or to vent and despite being 11 years apart and 5 states away, they are very close. He and Jamie have very similar personalities and always brings the party when he walks into a room. Lee has accepted Ben as his own and Ben is very excited to have his brother-in-law stand with him on his special day. Fun Fact: Lee loves spending his free time smoking brisket, ribs, chicken and anything else he can get in his huge BBQ Pit.
Kam Haynes
Ring Bearer
Kam is Jamie's godson, the son of Jamie's cousin, Shawn Haynes and his fiancé, Megan Dillingham. Kam is perfect for the role of ring bearer because not only is he utterly adorable, but his personality and glaring looks are sure to bring hilarity as he walks down the aisle. Fun Fact: Kam loves his dog, Kane, more than anything and just recently got a new puppy, DeSoto! They love playing in the pool and watching football with daddy.
Maverick Overman
Ring Bearer
The newest addition to the Overman Family had to make his debut appearance in his Uncle's wedding! Maverick will be with Kam on ring security, and we are so blessed he made it in time to make our special day. Fun Fact: Jamie had a hunch Taylor was pregnant only two days after Taylor found out and asked at dinner right after they arrived at the restaurant. Of course, keeping that secret was the hardest thing ever, but we are so very thankful for all three of them.
