Are kids allowed?

Answer

NO. Please leave your babies/toddlers at home and enjoy a night out with your partner, friends and family.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. All black required, no exceptions.

Can I wear a Halloween costume or Halloween mask?

Answer

No! This is not a Halloween Party. Please wear cocktail attire.

Should I bring a jacket?

Answer

Although there will be heaters under the tent and near the dance floor, we will be outside. Please bring a jacket/ coat. The dress code is all black no exceptions- this includes outerwear!

Is there a shuttle for drop off and pick up?

Answer

Unfortunately because of Covid-19 we cannot schedule a shuttle service. Please make arrangements accordingly. You should be able to schedule a taxi, uber, or lyft for you and your friend group.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:30pm sharp. The parking area is located at the beginning of the driveway, so you will have to walk up the driveway to get to the ceremony location. Please plan to be seated at the ceremony site no later than 4:45pm.

Answer

Parking Once you have entered the driveway, drive until you see a clearly marked parking area on your left. After you park, walk up the driveway until you get to the venue. Please be respectful while parking and do not block anyone in. You are more than welcome to leave your car overnight and catch a ride back in the morning.

What should I do if I am going to be late to the ceremony?

Please wait quietly near the bar until the ceremony is over.

I have a food allergy, how can I inform you about it?

Answer

Please email me at: ericalynnhood@gmail.com Subject Line: Hood/Roberts Wedding Allergy Please include: your name, your food allergy/food sensitivity and if you require an epipen *We will be providing a list of guests who have food allergies to our wedding coordinator prior to the wedding. Please inform us about your food allergy well in advance. If you have an epipen, please bring it with you to the wedding. We will have Benadryl onsite in both the bathrooms and first aid kit.*

Where will I be able to locate a First Aid Kit?

Answer

There will be a first aid kit available behind the bar. It will be accessible to guests throughout the entire event. The first aid kit will be stocked with the following items: bandaids, adhesive tape, compress dressing, antibiotic ointment, antiseptic wipes, Tylenol, burn cream, gauze, tweezers, nail clippers, Benadryl, and plastic bags for ice. Ice will be available behind the bar.

I am sensitive to fog machines, will one be used during the event?

Answer

There will be an industrial fog machine onsite during the entire event. If you are sensitive/allergic to fog machines please inform us about it. Please email me at: ericalynnhood@gmail.com Subject Line: Hood/Roberts Wedding Allergy Please include: your name, what your sensitivity/allergic reaction is and how severe it is *We will be providing a list of guests who have fog machine sensitivities/allergies to our wedding coordinator prior to the wedding. Please inform us about your fog machine sensitivity/allergy well in advance so we can plan accordingly and avoid any reactions. We will have Benadryl onsite in both the bathrooms and first aid kit.*

I have a light sensitivity/ or epilepsy, will there be strobe lights at the event?

Answer

There will be strobe lights and other types of lighting used during the event. Guests should inform us if they have epilepsy or a light sensitivity. Please email me at: ericalynnhood@gmail.com Subject Line: Hood/Roberts Wedding Light Sensitivity Please include: your name, your sensitivity or condition *We will be providing a list of guests who have light sensitivities/ or epilepsy to our wedding coordinator prior to the wedding. Please inform us about your light sensitivity/ or epilepsy condition well in advance so we can make a plan about how to avoid any light sensitivity/epileptic episodes.*

I am elderly, disabled, or pregnant, will there be a handicap bathroom I can use?

Answer

YES! Please email me if you know you will be needing to use the handicap bathroom. I will send you an email with more information about the bathroom closer to the wedding. Please email me at: ericalynnhood@gmail.com Subject Line: Hood/Roberts Wedding Bathroom Please include: your name, if you are elderly, disabled, or pregnant, and if you need assistance using the facilities *We will be providing a list of guests who need to use the handicap bathroom to our wedding coordinator prior to the wedding. Can elderly, disabled, or pregnant guests be dropped off close to the event?

Answer

YES! Elderly/physically disabled/pregnant guests can be dropped off close to the event site. There will be appropriate signage leading up to the event that will direct you where to go.
