Trophy Point
Trophy point is a historic scenic overlook located on the United States Military Academy at West Point. In order to get to this location or anywhere on base you must get a security clearance prior. Please see our faq page to learn more on how to get onto base. It is a very easy and quick process. Once cleared you will have access for the next year.
Bear Mountain State Park
Trailside Museums and Zoo invites you for a pleasant walk! You will learn about local ecology and history. You will see native wildlife close up in exhibits as you walk through the forest and see native gardens. You will take in spectacular vistas created by geologic forces over millions of years. On your journey, look about on the ground, in the trees, on the rocks, in the ponds and flying through the forest; you may see native wildlife thriving at Trailside!

Take an 1.5 hour drive to the heart of NYC. Or enjoy a scenic hour train ride down the Hudson River from the Garrison stop located in Philipstown, NY 10524 into Grand Central Terminal.
