We will be hosting welcome drinks from 7:30pm-8:30pm on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Zulu time rooftop bar & lounge located on the second floor of the Thayer Hotel. Back up location will be the General Patton’s Tavern on the main floor.

We ask the guest to arrive promptly by 3:15pm for a 3:30pm start time.
Our wedding ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting), our back up location is in the Eisenhower room. Cocktail ceremony will take place in the Grant Room followed by the reception in the Bradley room. The Thayer Hotel is wheelchair accessible.
There will be about a 90 minute break after our ceremony. Please feel free to walk around the premises and enjoy the beautiful views or check out the 3 different restaurants and bars on site. If you wish to go up on base make sure you have the proper paperwork completed first. *Keep reading below for more details on how to get onto base.
Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30pm. The reception will begin at 6:30pm followed by dancing.
Everything will be held at the Thayer Hotel, located at 674 Thayer Road, West Point, NY 10996.
We kindly ask you to wear formal cocktail attire.
The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation. Unfortunately no additional guests can be accommodated. We would like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well.
We love all your children dearly, but our wedding reception can only accommodate adults and those in the wedding. If you are bringing your kid(s) for the weekend and need recommendations for a babysitter for the wedding reception please let us know.
There is free on-site parking for all guest upon entering the first entrance to the left. There is free valet parking for all hotel guests. Guests not staying at the hotel and wish to use valet parking please let them know you are there for the Weeks/ O’Leary wedding so you will not have to pay the valet parking fee.
Our reception will end around 10:30pm. After that you are welcome to keep your own party going with having cocktails at Zulu time rooftop bar & lounge located on the second floor outdoor patio. Cash bar.

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel directly and mention our wedding anyways. They may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.
To get access to West Point to visit the University & base you will need to have a security pass (valid for one year after approved). Visit the Visitor Control Center VCC. The VCC is located in the Frederic V. Malek West Point Visitors Center and is open from 6am - 10pm daily. From 10pm - 5:59am, visitors should visit the Stony Lonesome Gate for their background check and entry to West Point. This process is typically quick. Make sure you have your id and or passport with you. It is GORGEOUS up there so we highly recommend visiting.
Smoking is NOT allowed in any part of the hotel or in the guestrooms. There is a $250 cleaning fee, per instance, of smoking anywhere in the building which will be charged to your guestroom. Guests may smoke outside in designated smoking areas.
The Thayer Hotel at West Point is governed by Federal law. Consumption or possession of marijuana in any form is not permitted on The Thayer Hotel or West Point grounds.
Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. The hotel does not guarantee early check in, but will try their best. Please note that our wedding does begin at 3:30pm. If your room is not available the hotel will check your luggage for you. There are several on site powder rooms you can always use to get ready in.
