Nate went as my date to Tri Delta Semi-Formal in Fall 2013 when we were wee little babes and just friends.

Our friends Taylor and Jacob have been instrumental in our love story, and my face in this photo from their wedding in 2019 (when we were "just friends") told a story we didn't even know yet.

We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade together just a few weeks after our first date. Falling in love in NYC was magical!

One of our earliest dates was to see Harry Connick, Jr. in concert at Lincoln Center. His version of "I Could Write a Book" will be our first dance song.

We secured our entry to the NYC Marathon by completing the 9+1 program (running 9 races and volunteering at 1 race). We picked a VERY cold volunteer opportunity at the United Airlines Half!

Seeing shows together is one of our very favorite things to do, and a highlight of calling NYC home. We saw Camelot with Madeline's family at Lincoln Center in 2023.

We love our city and we love traveling, but being at home with our Zoe girl is our favorite place in the world!

To celebrate 10 years since our summer abroad we returned to Maastricht and found that the bar we frequented in college is now a restaurant themed around Harvey Specter from "Suits".

We took our first of what is sure to be many trips to Asia together in March 2024. Nate played host in his former home of Bangkok; Madeline was mostly just hot but would go back for the spring rolls.

Nate proposed outside the New York Public Library on December 16, 2023. The reading room at the NYPL is our favorite remote work location and as avid readers it will always be a special place to us.

Nate planned a helicopter ride over Manhattan the day we got engaged, and we got to see all the places we love from the sky!

Maybe this bagel tasted better because we'd just gotten engaged, but they're also just REALLY good bagels. We celebrated our engagement with hot bagels from Ess-a-Bagel!
