We have chosen to celebrate the Sacrament of Matrimony in a private ceremony surrounded by our closest family and friends, as we unite our hearts before God. Though the ceremony itself is intimate, we look forward to sharing the joy of this meaningful day with you at our wedding reception! If you were invited to both the ceremony and the reception, you will have the option to RSVP for both events through the RSVP tab on our wedding website.
The wedding reception will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Please see your invitation for the time.
The wedding reception will be in Hilo. The exact location is on your invitation. If you were invited to the ceremony, the address will be on your invitation also.
RSVPs are kindly requested by Tuesday, March 31, 2026. We understand that life gets busy, so if you miss the deadline by a few days, just reach out to us directly and we’ll be happy to update your attendance.
We’re encouraging all guests to RSVP through our wedding website so we can best track our guest list. 1. Click the RSVP tab at the top of the website. 2. Enter your name exactly as it appears on your invitation, then click Continue. 3. If multiple names appear, select your name from the list. 4. Your invited party will be shown—please select “Will attend” or “Will not attend.” 5. If you’re invited to the ceremony, you’ll be prompted to click “Next Event” to RSVP for the ceremony as well. 6. If not, you’ll see a few optional fun questions at the end for your to answer. 7. Once everything is complete, click “Submit All” to send in your RSVP. Please feel free to contact the Bride and Groom if you need assistance sending in your RSVP.
Pūpūs start at 4:00 PM during cocktail hour (although it's not really a full hour) and the program begins right at 4:50 PM. Please plan to be seated at 4:45 PM so everything can run smoothly as we’ve got a full evening planned. Use the cocktail hour to enjoy some pūpūs and drinks, talk story with family and friends, and snap some fun shots at our photo booth—because once the program starts, we’re aiming to keep distractions to a minimum.
We’re so grateful to have so many loved ones joining us on our big day! Because we’re expecting a large number of guests, we’re kindly asking that plus ones be kept to those specifically listed on your invitation.
Please come dressed in your Sunday best—something nice and neat, but no need to go overboard. Ideally no shorts, t-shirts, or slippers, please. While we’re not picky about colors, please avoid white (that’s for the bride!). Our colors are shades of purple and gray, so feel free to match if you’d like!
We truly love your little ones, and we know how special they are to you. For our wedding day, we're keeping things a bit more intimate and are kindly requesting that children attend only if they are part of the bride or groom’s immediate family. That said, we completely understand that finding childcare isn’t always easy—if you’re in a pinch and need to bring your kids, please just let us know ahead of time. We appreciate your understanding and support.
Absolutely! Feel free to take pictures during the reception—we’d love to see the moments you capture. If you post on social media, don’t forget to tag us and use our hashtag #OurMarkOfJoy2026. We’ll also have a professional photographer documenting the night, so no pressure—just enjoy and have fun!
Your prayers and presence at our wedding reception truly means the world to us. If you’re able and would like to give a gift, we’ve created a cash fund through Zola (which can be found on the "Registry" tab) to help us create memories and spend meaningful time together in our new chapter. For those who prefer to give in person, we’ll have a gift box available at check-in. Your love and support are more than enough, and we’re so grateful either way.
