Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Scott Anderson and Skylar Dunn
Meet the amazing team of family and friends who will be walking the aisle with us!

Scott

Groom

Scott is my Prince Charming, my knight in shining armor, my answered prayer, my dream come true, and my handsome groom. I could not possibly be more in awe to be marrying this man—an intense and intimidating ranger-qualified lieutenant of the United States Army on the outside, a Christmas-loving, LEGO-collecting, forever goofy little kid on inside, and a hopelessly romantic man of God through and through. He is everything I’ve ever wanted and never thought I’d have, bringing a sense of comfort and security, as well as an air of magic and adventure to every moment since we met. He makes me a stronger and wiser woman, guiding me ever closer to the Lord and leading us with deep love and conviction. I have never felt as honored and cherished as I do by Scott, and it is one of my greatest gifts to call him my soon-to-be-husband.

Skylar

Bride

Skylar is my biggest blessing. Little did I know that the girl I met this spring would transform my life so greatly. Little did I know how deeply we would connect, little did I know the spiritual maturity she carried herself with to grow close with the Lord. Great was my doubt of finding one that held me so close. Great was my wondering of my future, but God is good! His grace and love are manifest in Skylar. Through long distance, numerous FaceTime calls, long hours on the phone, and carving out every moment possible to see each other in person has been so worth it. I have come to realize my best friend, my helper, my bride to be. The Lord said patience, and now I know why. It is the greatest honor of my life that the Lord has blessed me with the gift to marry such an amazing woman!

Savannah

Bridesmaid

My older sister, forever classmate, and childhood best friend, there are very few memories that cannot exist apart from Savannah, and my wedding day will be no different! We were inseparable in our early years, and while we have grown into very different people with opposite interests in many areas, we have never lost our love, friendship, bond, or fluent sibling jargon. She brings a balance, familiarity, and bottomless source of laughter and smiles to my life, and remains fiercely and undeniably true to herself, her family, her faith, and her sweet little kitty Lu! There was never a question she’d be an irreplaceable part of my love story, and I’m so overjoyed she’ll be making the journey from SeaWorld in San Diego, California, to be part of the beginning of this next chapter in my life. Savannah is my yellow rose, representing youthful joy and endless friendship she contributes to my life. 💛

Shaley

Bridesmaid

There are fewer souls in this day and age as pure and intentional as that of my younger sister, fellow middle child, and future officer of the United States Coast Guard…Shaley. Though we had our fair share of squabbles when we were little, we’ve grown up into amazing friends with too many inside jokes and goofy memories to count. Her middle name (Faith) is made evident through her worldview, and it’s an amazing inspiration to all of us. She sees the world a way very few people do, and loves the way Jesus Himself exemplified, rather than with the love of this generation. It’s just another reason it will be so special to have her standing beside me when I marry the love of my life, hand-picked by God. Shaley has never wavered in her support of my dreams, and it wouldn’t be a dream come true without her as a bridesmaid. Shaley is my white rose, representing the purity and loyalty she characterizes and demonstrates 🤍

Shiloh

Bridesmaid

My baby sister and mini me, Shiloh is the sister most after my own heart and the last still at home with me until I’m married this March. She’s one of the most creative minds I know, and it was no question placing her directly behind me in our lineup (there’s no one I’d trust with my veil and dress train more than her!) Whether she’s joining me for a neighborhood walk, scrolling through old pics and videos with me, or spending hours on the floor giggling over life stories, she keeps each day sweet. She’s had the most opportunity out of my sisters to get to know Scott, and now adores him as her own brother. She was actually the one who predicted from the beginning that there was something special about him! I can’t wait to see her genuine beauty shine at the altar as she stands by our side. Shiloh is my pink rose, representing the sweetness and gratitude her presence encourages me to prioritize 🩷

Michaella Anderson

Bridesmaid

Anyone who knows me knows my sisters are one of the most important blessings in my life, and now I have another in Michaella! From the moment I met her this past summer, I was blown away by her gentle spirit, refreshing innocence, and abundant love of life. (Not to mention her angelic voice!) It’s my honor to her make an indispensable addition to my bridal party and share this precious day with her. I hope and pray this sweet girl one day finds a man that leads and cherishes her the way her big brother does me!

Alexa Faulkner

Bridesmaid

From a mutual friend, to a lovely acquaintance, to one of my beautiful forever best friends, Alexa went from a nice girl I knew of through the grapevine to a priceless sister in Christ I truly can’t imagine my life without. We’ve been through so much together, from our days together at Liberty University, to our post grad adventures and endless ups and downs of life. She has taught me so much through our friendship, and shared so many incredible memories with me that I’ll never forget. I’ll be standing by her side in May at her own wedding, and it brings me so much joy to announce that amid her own chaos of wedding planning, she’s making the time to be by my side in March!

Aurora Foster

Bridesmaid

I cannot think of a better example of a godly wife and biblical young woman to embark on this journey of marriage with me than Aurora. Jiu jitsu brought us together back in our Liberty days, but it was our kindred spirits, mutual passions, and sisterhood that has kept us together through the miles between us. She is one of the most gorgeous humans I know, inside and out, and has been used by God to affirm that truth for myself time and time again. In the summer of 2024, I was beyond privileged to journey to Alaska to be one of her bridesmaids, and this spring of 2026, I’ll be beyond privileged to have her journey from Arizona to be one of my own.

MaKayla Rogers

Bridesmaid

From multiple mutual friends, a shared workplace, similar upbringings and families, and eventually the same church and Sunday school, God made it clear MaKayla was meant to be a part of my life. He brought her into my story in a difficult chapter of singleness and growth, and I am so thankful for the sweet little moments and bottomless laughs we’ve shared, (and photo shoots!) as well as the positive influence she’s had on my life and self image. She is one of the most humbly confident women I know and settles for nothing less than she deserves, while keeping the Lord at the center of all endeavors and pursuits. She’s an exceptional hype-woman and I’m ecstatic to have her hyping me up on one of the most important days of my life!

Benjamin

Best Man

Benji is my youngest brother, but that only increases my bond to him. As one I want him to look up to, he always challenges me to be better and closer to the Lord. Our mutual love for soccer and activity creates a dynamic energy full of competition and a VERY strong love for the world’s best club: the Columbus Crew! (Only the real one’s know). Having him as my Best Man is such an honor I am incredibly grateful for and I am humbled to have a brother like him!

Keith Michael

Groomsman

Keith Michael is my oldest sibling and one of the best examples of Godly brotherhood I could ask for. Keith Michael and I share much of the same spark for adventure and activity, creating so many of the amazing memories I share with him. Always one to liven up the room, reveal a new creation or work of art, and one I am proud to stand by my side in my wedding!

Marc

Groomsman

Marc is my second oldest sibling, and such a true brother to me. He has such a heart for the Lord, was always and continues to be the shining example of discipline (he built his own house!) and brotherly love, and brings life and excitement to the family game table! I am honored and privileged to have him supporting me on this special day!

Joshua

Groomsman

Josh is my third oldest sibling and with him he and I constitute our family’s middle children. He and I share such a close bond, whether in love for camping, hiking, shooting, or just playing games, I can always count on him for a new adventure and wise Godly counsel! The wedding party wouldn’t be complete without him in it!

Austin Button

Groomsman

Austin is a very close friend that I have had the privilege of knowing for many years. Having played on the same soccer team, gone to the same church, and just sharing so many mutual interests, he has always been one of my closest friends! Having such a Godly and close friend as him is truly a blessing from the Lord, of which I am eternally grateful. You’ll probably see him in pictures of most of my outdoor endeavors, regardless of how crazy.

Joshua Walls

Groomsman

Josh Walls and I met at Liberty University during our time at ROTC, where we grew close in every facet of our relationship. We would always seek out the next trip, the next hike, range to shoot, or gear to larp with. Even though he and his wife live deep in the Mid West with the Army, we forever share a special connection that cannot be broken! Thank you for sharing this special day with me!

John Obrey

Groomsman

John Obrey and I first met at Liberty University very early on as we shared the same dorm building and entered in the same class! We quickly sparked off growing close: ROTC, watching movies, gear hunting, walmart trips, you name it. As one of my closest friends, he has been such a consistent light and brother to me, and I am immensely honored to have him with me at the wedding.
