Our story began at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum while on a field trip in high school. Seats were limited and I thought I had found the perfect seat until someone beat me to it. Your wondering where does Nick fit in ? Well, Nick was the student that laughed out loud, and made jokes since I had to continuing standing like everyone else . While slightly annoyed, and trying not to laugh at the jokes myself, joking turned into flirting. Days to come, I thought about how he made me laugh and that he was quite handsome. We exchanged numbers via facebook (I reached out first lol) and we would talk on and off as friends throughout high school. When did it become official ? As you can imagine senior prom was a big deal .Classmates would come and tell me that Nick really wanted to go to prom with me & to give him a chance . Not easily swayed , I said no. Nick involved teachers, and even the principal to try and persuade me (he was quite the ladies man) . Eventually I said yes, (best decision I ever made) . May 3rd, 2013 Nick arrived to pick me up from my grandmother’s house and was introduced to more of my family members. Shortly after, we arrive at the Chase Park Plaza. Nick was the perfect gentleman, kept me smiling, and made me feel like a princess (still not moved cause I had been warned about those who charm lol). Before the night could come to an end, Nicholas asked if I would be his girlfriend (Roger- I want to be your man playing in the background). To my surprise I said yes.
Almost 8 years later, and we are very much still in love, and still crazy about each other. I am now his fiancè (he proposed on his birthday July 3rd, 2020) which has brought you to this website. We have become each other’s best friend, better half, and soul mates. We have grew together from teenagers to adults and our love still stands strong. We can not wait to become husband and wife in the presence of our closest family and friends.
