Typically 285 is a little shorter route and faster. However, during this time of year with steady travelers visiting the area, both routes can have traffic around the weekend. We highly suggest checking www.cotrip.org for live, real time traffic updates.
Some close & convenient options are the Surf Hotel, The Lake Side Motel, The Best Western and VRBO's/AirBNB's. Further out of town, but still an option, is Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. During the weekend there are many other activities taking place, so please book something as soon as you can!
Some of our favorites for dinner are Quincy's Steakhouse, La Herradura, The Eddyline and The Lariat. For breakfast the Roosters Crow and Jans are good options.
Our small town does not offer Lyft or Uber. However, well known local, Corrine Foreman runs a taxi service! You can reach her at 719-239-0548. Her website is www.corrinecarservice.com Another option is Rocky Mountain Taxi Service. They can be reached at 719-966-2005. DON'T DRINK & DRIVE!
Semi - formal and cocktail attire, but its most important to be comfortable. Be ready to drink, dance and celebrate the night away.
Well, of course! We're all family, and some of our best memories are dancing the night away at weddings. The whole family is welcome! There will be a kids table where they can sit to eat and some other activities. Please let us know if your children will be attending under the RSVP tab of our website.
