Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Leah Marie Clegg and Patrick Bryan Dolce
There are many things to do around the Rockport and Camden area. We'll list our favorites down below for you! We absolutely adore Camden, so the majority of these recs are in the Camden area. Fun fact, Leah's Great Grandfather opened one of the first grocery stores in Camden!
Mount Battie

Mount Battie

Camden, ME 04843

If you want to see that first picture in person, just drive up to Mount Battie! Mount Battie gives a beautiful view of downtown Camden and is a must-see attraction.

Camden Main Street

Camden Main Street

Main Street, Camden, ME 04843

One of our favorite things to do is walk along Main Street in Camden. There are a ton of cute shops and restaurants. Make sure to check out The Smiling Cow for cute Maine souvenirs and grab some homemade fudge. Or pick up some ice cream at Camden Cone and enjoy it at the Harbor Park while watching the Sailboats come and go!

Schooner Sailboat

Schooner Sailboat

There are many schooner sailboat rides in Camden and Rockport. Our favorite is the Appledore Schooner, which we linked down below, but feel free to check out the others in town!

Breakwater Lighthouse

Breakwater Lighthouse

The Breakwater Lighthouse is right off of Samoset Resort (our venue, yay!). The walk out to the lighthouse is just shy of a mile long.

Sea Dog Brewing Co.

Sea Dog Brewing Co.

1 Main Street, Camden, ME 04843

Sea Dog is found all across Maine, but originally founded right here in Camden Maine! Try a flight of local Maine beer while you're here!

Salt Wharf

Salt Wharf

3 Wayfarer Drive, Camden, ME 04843

If you want a cool place to hang out by the water, the Salt Wharf in Camden has the perfect view of the harbor. You can even get a Lobster Roll anyway you want it!

Barrett's Cove on Megunticook lake

Barrett's Cove on Megunticook lake

104 Beaucaire Avenue, Camden, ME 04843

Leah's family has a small cottage on Megunticook Lake that needs some TLC so unfortunately is not open for anyone to visit during the Wedding Weekend. However, the Lake has a Public Beach where you can kayak at called Barrett's Cove! Either way, we recommend at least driving around Megunitcook Lake if you're able to, just to see how beautiful Lakeside Maine can be too.

Cellardoor Winery

Cellardoor Winery

367 Youngtown Road, Lincolnville, ME 04849

Maine not only has their own beer, but their own wine too! Surprisingly... pretty good.
