April fools! Please RSVP by March 31st. We really hope you're able to make it. However, if we have not received your RSVP by March 31st, we will mark you down as "unable to attend" and unfortunately will not be able to include you in the wedding going forward.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

To put it simply... dress code will be Semi-Formal-Pastel-Colored-Coastal-Garden-Party-Attire, obviously. Just kidding. I mean, listen. We'll be outside, by the water, then under a tent, on the Fourth of July. Wear what you think would be comfortable for an outdoor wedding. And although it is the Fourth of July, we would request and appreciate no shorts, no denim, and no red attire. However, blue is very coastal, very on theme, and very encouraged :)

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

There will be an aperitivo prior to the ceremony just downstairs from the lobby at Enoteca Bar & Lounge that will be open at 3 pm for you all. Otherwise, please arrive at 3:30 pm as the ceremony will start promptly at that time.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your love and support is all we need; your presence is truly our present at our wedding. However, for those who wish to give, we have set up a Newlywed Fund that will go towards our honeymoon and future home. Any amount is greatly appreciated. You can find that on the "Registry" tab of our website.

Where should I stay?

Answer

The Samoset Resort where the wedding and brunch will be held is an award winning, worthwhile stay. The Resort overlooks Penobscot Bay and Breakwater Lighthouse. There are tons of things to enjoy at the resort, including 2 pools, a spa, tennis courts, pickleball courts, golfing, and more! Of course, because it is a holiday weekend, they require a 3 night minimum booking. Everyone is provided a booking link tied to our wedding that includes a discount for our guests (Please see "Travel" tab for more info). We are told the discount changes throughout the year, so it is best to book early. However, we completely understand if this is not feasible and we will not be offended at all if you choose to stay somewhere else. Camden and Rockport have an overwhelming amount of Inns and Bed & Breakfasts. Airbnbs are also encouraged! We have listed alternative lodging on our "Travel" tab as well.

Any additional events during the wedding weekend?

Answer

We have 2 additional events outside the wedding, all optional. We know it is not the easiest traveling to this part of Maine, and we are so incredibly thankful and grateful to those able to make the journey to celebrate at such a special place to us. To show our appreciation, we have planned a Welcome Party on Friday July 3rd, and a Farewell Brunch on Sunday July 5th. You'll be able to RSVP to each one individually and can always update it as you finalize your travel plans.

Is there parking at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! There is self parking and valet parking available at the venue, even if you are not a guest there :)

Are there plus ones?

Answer

We truly wish we could give everyone a plus one, but unfortunately it wasn't possible for us and our venue's capacity. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your individual invitation. Thank you so much for understanding.

Will there be kids?

Answer

We absolutely adore little ones. Unfortunately, it was not possible for us and our venue's capacity to invite children. We would love if you are able to take this as an opportunity for a date trip/vacation. However, if this is not feasible, we will certainly miss you but of course we completely understand and have no hard feelings.

I have dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Our Executive Chef can accommodate any and all dietary restrictions. Just make sure to list your specific dietary restriction when you RSVP, including food allergies/sensitivities please.
