Travel Note
If you are coming to Ouray from the south, we recommend taking either Highway 550 or 145 from Durango. Do NOT take the scenic route through Lake City/Gunnison to Ouray as the Blue Mesa Bridge is closed indefinitely. If you are afraid of heights and windy roads, you may prefer highway 145 to 550. Hwy 550 is the "red mountain pass" or "million dollar highway" -- look up pictures if you are unsure. It is the prettiest way to go and really is safe! Just follow speed limits and don't go that way if there is a big rain event!
Travel Note
Guests from out of town!! Please note that Uber/ride share is not really a thing in our area and there are limited shuttle services available. PLEASE plan accordingly! For this reason, it is either best to stay in Ouray, within walking distance of the venue, or have a designated driver back to your location. We want everyone to get home safely! You can arrange a shuttle from Montrose Regional Airport to Ouray though!
