What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire, with tropical vibes. Tropical cocktail? Ladies - think bright-colored dresses or jumpsuits. Guys - no need to worry about packing formal suits or jackets unless you'd like to, and feel free to break out the linen! FYI: January temperatures in St. Thomas range from 75-82 degrees. The ceremony itself will be in a grassy area overlooking the beach, so don't worry about sand.

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We LOVE your kids (special shoutout to Reavy, Jax, and Freddie), but this will be an adults-only event. We hope that, if you can swing it, it'll be a good opportunity for a parents' weekend getaway. :)

Why did you pick St. Thomas?

Answer

We get this question a lot! It came down to picking a destination with predictably warm weather, ideally after the post-holiday serotonin crash that happens in mid-January. The USVI was an attractive option because it doesn't require a Passport but still definitely serves as a destination venue. In all honesty it was the venue itself that sold us, though. The Hideaway team has been AMAZING, and as soon as we found it we knew it was the one.
