Caylee and Jacob met in the spring of 2022 at a mutual friends’ graduation party. The celebration ended at the local honky-tonk, Cowboys Red River, where Jacob asked Caylee to dance. After a few laps around the dance floor, they went their separate ways. Over the next two years, their friendship grew as they attended game nights, Friendsgivings, Christmas parties, and even watched the Astros win the 2022 World Series together. Then, in February of 2024 at another party with a dance floor, Caylee asked Jacob to dance. They two-stepped to a few country songs before Jacob left. After pulling out of the parking lot to go home, he realized he didn't have Caylee's number and drove back to the bar to ask her for it. A week later, they went on their first date. Since then, they’ve cooked many meals together, had countless adventures traveling to visit friends and family across the country, and attended many sporting events together. Jacob has gotten Caylee into watching Baylor basketball, with the trade-off that he watches Gilmore Girls with her. Their biggest accomplishment (and source of drama) as a couple was taking 1st and 2nd place in their fantasy hockey league last year. Caylee won but Jacob put up a good fight and only lost by 30 points. On September 12th, 2025, which was their one-and-a-half–year anniversary, Jacob proposed. Now, exactly one year later, they’ll be married!
