Wedding Party

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who is helping us celebrate and get down the aisle. First, to our parents — all eight of you! We are so grateful for your love, support, and guidance throughout our lives, and for helping shape us into the people we are today. You have all embraced our union with open arms and welcomed the joining of our families with so much love. A special shoutout to the one and only Vicky Baker for her endless patience with Bre — from phone calls and meetings to vendor visits and everything in between, she’s basically earned an honorary degree in wedding planning at this point, and we truly couldn’t have done it without her. To our wedding party — thank you for standing by our sides on such a meaningful day. Each of you holds such an important place in our lives, and having you with us as we celebrate means the world to us (and while we didn't pick you all for your dancing capabilities, we still look forward to seeing your moves on the dancefloor).

Amanda Bateman

Maid of Honor

It all started in 1998, Mrs. Dalton's 3rd grade class, when Amanda was assigned to be Bre's Best Buddy on her first day at a new school. Here we are 28 years later and Amanda is still doing that job.

BJ Malfitano

Best Man

23 Years ago Johns mom and BJs dad got married and created a new blended family. BJ and John despite the large age gap became very close from wrestling to see who had to sleep on the roll away bed on vacation or to playing video hockey against each other. Although technically "step" brothers neither one of them have ever used that label it has always just been Brothers.

Stepheny Stone

Chief Bridesmaid

Since 9th grade Bre and Stepheny have been like sisters - head butting included. From Rawkin' Hawks, to girls trips, through ups and downs and highs and lows. Steph even got to vet John early on and he survived, which was a pretty good sign.

Justin Owens

Groomsman

A friendship began at M-G Feeds when Justin was hired to become the Maintenance Supervisor. Due to the old nature of the facility John and Justin had to put their heads together on many occasions to keep the facility running. Due to the amount of time spent at work together a real friendship came to. Justin and his wife Jennifer along with her parents welcomed John in as part of the family and has been that way ever since.

Megan Allemand

Bridesmaid

It all started at ACU Dallas - the bond of two dog-loving, dress-up mastering, 90's kids. No matter if we are hitting up a baseball game, grabbing margaritas, or dragging the boys along with us, we always have a good time.

Brennan Coleman

Groomsman

Started as co-workers then became friends then eventually Brennan became Johns boss. The friendship started bonding over actively trying to annoy our Project Manager during our time in Iowa. John and Brennan recognized that it would be more efficient if they teamed up to annoy their boss and they were correct.

Aubrey Otero

Bridesmaid

More than a sister-in-law, Aubrey's been around most of Bre's life. The first of her brother's girlfriends to be nice, even if Bre was skeptical and not so nice in return (don't worry, they get along great now).

Ryan Otero

Groomsman

The first time hanging out with Ryan was at the Cosm where Ryan, Aubrey, Bre and John went to watch a Steelers game. John being the odd man out as a Cowboys fan created a bond with Ryan of poking fun at the other ones team. Although John will occasionally root for the Steelers (only if it doesn't affect the Cowboys) it does not seem likely that Ryan will ever root for the Cowboys.

Nora Otero

Junior Bridesmaid

BEAN! Aunt Bebe is Bean's biggest fan - from golf to Harry Potter fandom (okay John might beat Bre on that one). We just can't figure out where Nora gets her sassiness and remarkable facial expressions from ;)

Nolan Otero

Junior Groomsman

The one that promoted Bre to Aunt Bebe, and 1/3 of the men in Bre's life named after Nolan Ryan. Nolan embraced Uncle John quickly and loves to show him how to beat a video game, or learn about life on the farm.
