Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Black-Tie Optional / Formal Attire. We want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration while looking their best, so please choose an outfit that fits the dress code and makes you feel great. Gentleman: Tuxedo or Dark Suit with Necktie or Bowtie Ladies: Floor-Length Formal Gowns, Formal Jumpsuits/ Pant Suits or Formal Midi Dresses We look forward to seeing you and celebrating together!

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

What is the best way to get from the ceremony location to the reception location?What is the best way to get from the ceremony location to the reception location?

Answer

Great news! While the Ceremony and Reception venues are 0.4 miles from one another, we have scheduled Shuttle/Bus Transportation to and from both venues beginning after the Ceremony concludes, running throughout the night to and from both locations to then take guests back to their cars at The Adolphus, the Ceremony Location.

Is there a preferred hotel for accommodations for the wedding?Is there a preferred hotel for accommodations for the wedding?

Answer

YES! The Adolphus is the recommended and preferred hotel for the wedding as the Ceremony will be taking place inside of The French Room at The Adolphus. The Adolphus, of course, is near and dear to us as this is Jillian's place of employment where we both have shared so many memories with some of our closest friends and family. We hope to continue sharing this special place with all who would like to stay and experience all of the grandeur that is The Adolphus! Please see the Travel tab to confirm your reservation within the Oswalt / Ross Wedding Room Block.

Answer

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be Indoors, but between the Ceremony and Reception, guests will go outside to the scheduled transportation to depart to the Reception venue.

Can I Take and Post Pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?Can I Take and Post Pictures of the Wedding on Social Media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #RendezvousWithTheRosses so we can keep track of all of your pictures! We do, however, ask that you refrain from personal photo and video during the wedding ceremony - we've hired some amazing photographers and videographers!

Some fun news, November 1st is Daylight Savings where we will "fall back" and gain an hour that evening to keep the party going a little longer!

What is the plan AFTER the Reception concludes?What is the plan AFTER the Reception concludes?

Answer

Transportation will bring guests back to The Adolphus if you are staying or have parked here for the ceremony. Any and all are welcome to join the bride and groom after the wedding at one of our favorite spots, Mike's Gemini Twin Lounge, to continue the celebration! Mike's is 1.2 miles from the hotel, so we recommend taking a short Uber/Lyft if you'd like to join. Best hot dogs in town!
