FAQs

Have a question about the wedding? Check out some of these FAQs. If these don't answer your question, feel free to reach out to Hope or Joey with your questions.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you can make it by April 15, so we have time to finalize all of the details to make this night perfect for all of our guests!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00PM sharp! We ask that all guests show up by 3:45PM to prevent any late arrivals while the procession begins.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus one, this will be indicated on the invite you receive in the mail. Please do not bring a date unless they are clearly invited.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

A shuttle will arrive at 2:45PM to Gold Miners Inn and depart for the ceremony venue at 3:10PM. Then, after the reception, the bus will leave the venue at 10:15PM and drop all riders off at Gold Miners Inn at 11:05PM. The Gold Miners Inn is very central to Grass Valley and is walking distance from other hotels and entertainment. This shuttle is not limited to guests staying at the Gold Miners Inn, but it will be first come, first served up to 50 passengers.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We don't have a specific dress code. We want you to feel comfortable and confident! Think cocktail attire - The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be in a barn/outdoors. We encourage earthy tones, or fun Spring colors! (Think neutrals or browns, bright pops of color, or fun pastels!)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! Check out the "Registry" section of the website for our full wedding registry!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Take a look at the "Travel" section of the website for more information!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The venue has parking available for both the ceremony and reception. Please plan ahead with a designated driver if you plan on driving yourselves home at the end of the evening.
