Hope and Joey went to middle school together at Buljan where they were friends. They both ended up going to high school at Oakmont and didn’t know a lot of people freshman year, so they spent a lot of time together. Over the years, they grew apart and were nothing more than acquaintances. (Although they both thought each other was cute the entire time). Fast forward to 2017: Hope was a freshman at the University of Arizona and was bored out of her mind, so she posted a “Fav for a TBH” on Twitter. Eventually, Joey faved the tweet and Hope sent him a message telling him how cute he was and how she missed hanging out with him. He agreed and they’ve been obsessed with each other ever since. 7.5 years later, he proposed and now here we are! Turns out social media is good for something!
