Quite possibly, but probably not because of that. As people started to put their plans together for our 2020 wedding date, we noticed almost everyone planning to attend was going to make the trip into a larger vacation; taking time to go see Yellowstone/Glacier and just Montana in general. Once we knew we needed to postpone, the availability for prime days in July of 2021 had become a little scarce. Moving from a Friday to a Monday allowed us to get a date at the time of year we preferred, and also allows people to take a whole week off (Monday-Friday) instead of Thursday-Wednesday or something like that.
Sure do! The plan is to do it anyway. We have pushed our engagement another year longer than we wanted to, and that's on top of 6 years of dating. We're about done waiting. This virus has certainly affected us all in innumerable ways, and obviously the last thing we want is friends and family making the difficult choice not to attend because of it. We will completely understand and respect anyone who does not feel comfortable attending.
The Ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand to park and find your seat before Alli walks down the aisle!
There is a loose dress code - we recommend semi-formal or cocktail attire. No suit coats required! Please note that half of our venue is outside, and there is some uneven ground. Our ceremony takes place in a grassy meadow - pointy heels are not recommended!
Nope! Dinner is an Italian buffet. You have your choice of Cheese Tortellini, Linguine, and Cavatappi pastas to pair with either pesto or marinara sauce. For toppings, you can choose to add Chicken, Italian Sausage, or Smoked & Seared flank steak, along with a slue of other toppings including cheeses and veggies, both raw and roasted. This is in addition to a side salad and bread. To drink, there will be sodas and an open bar, as well as an infused water station. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions! We can easily accommodate you ahead of time but we need to know at least a month in advance.
Nope! The bar will be open from 5:30pm - 11pm. Drink responsibly!
Yes! We have reserved a school bus leaving from the hotel to the venue at 4:15. Return trips will start at 8pm and will be available every hour afterwards. If you are planning to take the bus, please RSVP for that as well as for the wedding! Do not drink and drive! In addition to the normal incredibly high risks, Montana has an excess of high speed roads and animals that just love to jump around on them.
Absolutely. Children should all be included in your invitations. If we somehow missed your little ones in our head count, please let us know so we can fix this mistake!
During the reception, please do! The more pictures we have of this day the better! Feel free to use the wedding hashtag "#LiveLoveLaFalce" so we can all see all the memories in one place. We do ask, however, that during the ceremony phones are silenced and stowed. Please enjoy the moment with us and let our photographers do the hard part!
Bozeman is at an elevation of almost 5000 feet. If you're going to be outside for a while and you're fair of skin, be sure to use sunscreen! The elevation makes the sun significantly more intense. Since our wedding is in the summertime, sunshine is the only element you should need shielding from!
