Getting to the island - Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry

Mukilteo Ferry Terminal: 920 1st St, Mukilteo, WA 98275 The best way to get to the island is by taking the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton. It’s about a 20 minute ferry ride. You can walk on as a pedestrian or drive on with your car. Alternatively, if you prefer to skip the ferry, you can take the long route and drive north and drive onto Fidalgo Island, pass over Deception Pass onto Whidbey Island and drive to the south end of the island. This route would be approximately an additional 2 hours. Be sure to check the ferry schedule online for times and traffic updates.

Very nice spa and inn. Right on the water, so it has great views for whale watching and is right in downtown Langley. Expensive option, so this is the place if you’re looking to treat yourself. Does not allow children though.

There are many great Airbnbs in the area. We recommend grouping up and booking a home with other guests! Other nearby cities to look in are Freeland, Greenbank, Bayview, Maxwelton, and Clinton.

More mainstream hotel lodging. Located in Mukilteo, which is on the mainland, but is walking distance from the ferry. Would need to ferry onto the island for wedding events.

Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle & Charter

If you are not planning to get a rental car, you can take the Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle from the airport to Whidbey Island. Just be aware that the island has limited uber, Lyft and taxi services. There is island transit (public transportation) that runs daily.
