Point Lobos is the best place to hike and experience pacific views. There are multiple hikes in the area of various distances. We suggest getting there early in the day as parking is limited and fills up quickly.
A beautiful, scenic route through Pebble Beach. We've enjoyed renting bikes in Monterey and riding along the coast or parking along the side of the road and walking on the beach path.
Carmel Valley is home to some fantastic wineries with world class wines and even better views. We recommend visiting Folktale Winery or the Holman Ranch Tasting Room.
Weather permitting, we suggest spending the day at Carmel's beaches. Carmel Beach is a half mile walk from downtown Carmel and has incredible sunset views. There is a walking path above this beach we recommend for a short walk. For a more tranquil experience, we recommend Carmel River Beach. The walk between both beaches is only about a mile and is especially lovely in the morning with a cup of coffee.
The Inn at Spanish Bay offers incredible views around its outdoor fire pits. Located on the Links at Spanish Bay, the light bites and drinks are fantastic. Don't miss the bag piper that plays every night at sunset.
Don't miss taking a walk through Downtown Carmel by-the-Sea. The architecture, shops, and art galleries aren't to be missed.
Big Sur is a stunning stretch of California’s central coast, known for its dramatic cliffs, winding Highway 1 views, redwood forests, and rugged Pacific beauty.
If you're looking for something to do with kids, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is well worth your time. Spending the day at the aquarium and touring Fisherman's Warf is a classic Northern California experience.
