What is the best way to get around in Carmel?

Answer

Busses will be available to transport guests between La Playa Hotel and Carmel Mission Carmel before and after the ceremony. If you plan to drive, please note that parking at La Playa is somewhat limited but street parking is usually available. Please note that ride share apps do work in Carmel but often have long wait times. If you plan to Uber to the ceremony, we recommend scheduling an Uber to make sure there are no delays.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For those who plan to join us for a welcome drink on October 10, we have no expectation of attire. The bridal party will be wearing cocktail attire following a formal rehearsal. For our ceremony and reception on October 11, we request guests wear cocktail or black tie attire. We encourage guests to wear whatever makes them feel most comfortable, but for those looking for more direction, please see inspiration at this link.

Who is invited?

Answer

We love all of the children in our lives, but we are not able to accommodate children at the ceremony or reception venues. Similarly, due to limited capacity our venues, the guest list is limited to those addressed on the invitation. Please contact Ashley or Matt with any clarifying questions.
