What is transportation like in Tampa?

Answer

Tampa is a fairly compact city. The airport (TPA) is only about 8 miles from downtown. With the exception of going to the beaches or Busch Gardens, everything is within a 5 minute Uber/Lyft ride or a free streetcar ride. There's also a free downtown ride service and many things are walk-able too.

Is Florida hot in May?

Answer

Generally, it's warm but not quite as hot as the Summer months. It can range from the low 70's to highs in the upper 80's. Humidity can be a factor; if you have "hair" like David it's no big deal but others may want to come prepared to contend with it. Sunglasses, sunscreen and/or hats aren't a bad idea for any length of time spent in the sun.

Will There Be Dancing?

Answer

Yes, we have a great Latin band. You do not have to be technically proficient at any style of Latin dance, but we suggest that you get out there and try it. Music of the non-Latin variety will also be featured between and after the band's sets.
