The Whaler's Inn
We love this quintessential New England Inn, not only for it's charm and close proximity to the reception venue (a two minute walk), but it's also walkable to downtown Mystic. Shuttles will be provided to and from this location to the ceremony, more details to come. The rooms are a mix of king rooms and double queen rooms for $459/night. Our room block is for Saturday 9/6 check in, Monday 9/8 check out. There are lots of stairs on the property, if you have trouble with stairs request a room with ramp access. Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa
We have also have set aside some rooms at the more affordable but also beautiful Mystic Marriott. This hotel is centrally located about about 30 minutes from the ceremony and 15 minutes from the reception. We will provide transportation to and from the wedding ceremony and reception. Flight Recommendations
Mystic is a beautiful place and is so special to us, but it takes some planning to get there. We recommend flying into Boston, Providence or Hartford. Boston is great because you can usually find a direct flight from LAX, AUS or any major airport. It is about 2 hours from Boston to Mystic, but there are some train options that will get you really close to our hotels. Amtrak's Northeast Regional line will provide the best train options from Boston (or Providence) to Mystic and you get to see the beautiful landscape New England on the trip. Providence's TF Green airport is about 40 minutes from Mystic and there should be some train options from Providence as well. Hartford's Bradley airport is about an hour from Mystic and you would need to rent a car. Don't hesitate to reach out to Molly or Patrick if you have any questions about travel and accommodations.
