When should I RSVP by?

Answer

July 1st 2025 at latest. If you know sooner, please let us know!

Are you registered?

Answer

We will add a registry to our wedding website closer to the date of the event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or Garden Attire: Short or long dresses, jumpsuits, or sets for the ladies. The bride prefers if the ladies don't wear solid white or black; bright colors are encouraged. Suits not required. Choose shoes carefully as you will have to walk on grass to get the the ceremony.

Only my name was on the invitation. Can I bring a date?

Answer

This will be an intimate affair and capacity at our venues is very limited. If we didn't include a guest on your invitation, but you would like to bring someone special, please contact Patrick or Molly for our consideration.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at the Ceremony at Harkness Park. The reception at Engine Room is 21+. If you need a recommendation for a local sitter, we can help with that.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked rooms at The Whaler's Inn and Mystic Marriott. This information is listed under the "Hotels & Flights" tab on this website.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style with a variety of food, including vegetarian and gluten free options.

Question

I'm coming from out of town, do I need to rent a car?

Answer

For the wedding events we will provide shuttles on the day of from the hotels we have room blocks at. If you choose to stay somewhere else, we would recommend renting a car. If you fly into Boston or Providence there should be trains available to get you from the airports to Mystic. If you fly into Hartford, we would recommend renting a car as Ubers can be difficult to find. If you do rent a car, there is plenty of parking at Harkness Park for the ceremony. There is limited parking at The Engine Room (reception) but plenty of street spots in walking distance. If you're staying at The Whaler's Inn, you won't need to drive to the reception it's just a couple doors down.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will provide shuttle details closer to the date of the wedding but this is something we are hoping to be able to provide our guests from the two hotels where we have room blocks. If you have any questions before this information is available please reach out.
