Aaron is from SoCal but is happy to finally live somewhere that rains (at least sort of). Aaron transferred to Cal Maritime in 2015 where he studied Marine Transportation—that is, how to drive boats and ships. After graduating in 2018, he now works for OSG as a USCG licensed 3rd Mate on the oil tanker Overseas Los Angeles. His schedule has him working 75 days at sea going between the SF and Seattle bay areas (When the 75 days are over, Aaron has 75 days of vacation! ) When he is in port in the San Francisco Bay, he is able to get off the ship for a couple of hours to get tacos and coffee with Lizzie in Point Richmond, which has quickly become one of their favorite dates! Lizzie is a lover of all things art, architecture, history, and culture, who has tried her best to be a career student. She studied Creative Arts and Archaeology at San Jose State University and active in student government and a member of Delta Zeta sorority. She lived in Philadelphia for a year while she studied Historic Preservation at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating she worked at Houzz.com for a couple of years before going back to school, this time to study maritime security at Cal Maritime. She met Aaron while they both served on the Corps of Cadets. She now works for Liquid Robotics, where she drives boat drones.
