Even though we are eloping to Scotland, we wanted to celebrate with our union with our amazing community! We decided the best way to do so would be by hosting a get-together to help us ramp up the festivities before our trip.
We are eloping to Scotland for an intimate ceremony with just the two of us. The ceremony will take place on 6 February 2020.
We really wanted to get married somewhere that would be intimate and otherworldly. We found the Scottish Highlands fit the image of our perfect day, full of whimsy and mystery to inspire the mood of this special occasion. We let our interests guide our selection of hotel and ceremony spaces. The Fife Arms is a dream hotel, recently redone by world-renown art collectors and voted Scotland's best hotel for 2019 in numerous publications. The ceremony location is a decommissioned church designed by architect Sir Ninian Comper, famous for his stained glass windows throughout Westminster Abbey. After our ceremony, we will spend the afternoon exploring the highlands together before a romantic candlelit dinner in our suite. We are so excited for our wedding to be a reflection of us and our passions--the mixture of history, art, architecture, nature, and adventure!
We are looking forward to celebrating our marriage in an intimate ceremony, just the two of us. We appreciate your enthusiasm for our love and will take it with us to the Scottish Highlands!
