There is limited onsite accommodation in the grounds of Cloughjordan House which we have allocated to guests. Those that have been allocated a room do not need to confirm the reservation with the venue. Just check in on the day. If you need changes to your reservation just let Chris or Orla know and we will manage with the venue.

Hotel choices are limited in the area however the Great National Abbey Court Hotel is a reliable option to rest your head in the area and an easy 15 minute drive from Cloughjordan House. It is a mid range hotel offering hotel rooms and self catering lodge options. There are also plenty of amenities within walking distance from Nenagh town

A beautiful 17th century, 3 storey basement house located 12 minutes from Cloughjordan House. The main house sleeps up to 13 adults. On the grounds of the main house is also a small cottage that can accommodate up to 5 people. 2 double bedrooms and one single Capacity: 18 people

Quaint cottage on 450 acre Fairymount farm with Bike Park Ireland. Has two double bedrooms and a double loft bed. The house has two double bedrooms and two single bedrooms. About a 15 minute drive from Cloughjordan House. Capacity: 6 people per house

Our venue is tucked away in a remote location in Ireland and so we highly recommend anyone travelling rents a car to get around. When we are in Ireland we use rentalcars.com to book and find we have had a reliable service, just don't forget your drivers licence! This site can be used for both Shannon and Dublin airports. You can also pick up at one airport and drop off at the other if you are intending to do some travelling when you are in Ireland

Travel Note

Taxi's / Shuttle Buses

We have a large number of guests staying off site. So you don't have to worry about getting home from the venue we will be pre-booking taxi's / shuttle buses to run regularly from Cloughjordan House the night of the wedding to get you back safely to your destination whenever your ready to call it a night.

Flight

Flight Options from London

When travelling from London you can fly to either Shannon, Dublin or Cor airports. We would recommend flying to Shannon as it's only a one hour drive to the venue and a small airport so easy to get through. You can fly to Shannon from Heathrow (Aer Lingus), Gatwick & Stansted (Ryanair). If you prefer to fly to Dublin or Cork, all London airports will have flights to these airports also and it is about a 2 hour drive from there. From either Shannon, Dublin or Cork airports, the road to Cloughjordan is via a main motorway so an easy drive either way. When we fly to Ireland we always use skyscanner to find the best prices for flights. We have provided the link and recommend you book as early as possible. It will be a busy weekend for flights with lots of people flying from the UK and Ireland home for Christmas so we expect flights to get expensive the closer we get to December.
