Bride
I'm still in awe of God's faithfulness throughout this journey. He didn't just bring me the man of my dreams — He also placed these incredible women in my life with intention, each one arriving exactly when I needed her. My bridesmaids have loved me, challenged me, and helped shape me into who I am today. I'm so grateful that as I step into this next chapter, I don't have to do it alone.
Groom
When I look back on this journey, I can't help but feel grateful for how everything has come together. Finding Ori was the answer to everything I never knew how to put into words, and along the way, I've been surrounded by a group of men who've carried me through every season of life. My groomsmen, my brothers in arms, have celebrated my highs, steadied me through my lows, and reminded me who I am whenever I forgot. I'm beyond grateful for each of them, and my heart is full knowing I get to stand beside Ori and these brothers as we step into this beautiful new chapter together.
Matron of Honor
Karen and I have been friends for so long that neither of us can remember how we first met, which feels right, because it's hard to imagine a time before her. We found each other at Wilde Lake High School (French class to be specific), and somewhere along the way, this girl I once called by the wrong name became my sister. Over the years, we've held each other through life's hardest moments and celebrated every win in between. Through every chapter, Karen showed up. She tells me the truth when I need to hear it and hypes me up when I need that too, sometimes in the same conversation. Her loyalty is quiet and unshakeable, and her friendship has been one of the most constant things in my life. I couldn't be more grateful to have her as my matron of honor.
Best Man
Our friendship began in college the way all legendary ones do: locked in a heated FIFA match that, to this day, neither of us will admit we lost. Somewhere between the trash talk and the controller-throwing, Perez became my brother. Since then, we've racked up more memories than I can count, late nights, endless laughs, and adventures from New York to Boston to DC. Through every twist and phase of life, Perez has always shown up, usually with a joke, occasionally with unsolicited life advice, and always with that ridiculous optimism of his. That's the thing about Perez: he finds the bright side of everything, his loyalty is unmatched, and he celebrates your wins louder than you do. I genuinely don't know what I'd do without him. Honored to call him my Best Man. Just keep him away from the controllers at the reception.
Maid of Honor
Stephanie may come across as serious at first, but she has one of the sweetest hearts, the most generous spirit, and the most thoughtful way of caring for others. She carries a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and a nurturing presence that has blessed so many people around her. Over the years, I have especially appreciated her incredible project management skills, steady guidance, and reliability through so many seasons of life. It only feels right that she would step into this role for my wedding as my Maid of Honor, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side during such a special moment.
Groomsman
I have Perez to thank for introducing me to Akwasi back in college, and it remains one of the best accidental gifts our friendship ever produced. From the moment we met, Akwasi brought something rare to the group: calm. He's the steady one, the voice of reason who keeps his cool no matter how chaotic things get. When the rest of us are spiraling and convinced the sky is falling, Akwasi calmly points out that it's actually fine, and somehow he's always right (which is honestly a little annoying). He listens before he speaks, thinks before he reacts, and shows up without ever needing to be asked. Wise, dependable, and loyal to a fault, Akwasi is exactly the kind of person you want in your corner when life gets loud. Proud to have him standing beside me on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Kemi is the firm yet loving friend who is always ready to defend the people she cares about and encourage them in their faith — usually by inviting them to a weekly prayer or worship session. Her strength, resilience, passion for fashion, and deep love for her family have always inspired me. Kemi has a bold and caring spirit that makes people feel protected and supported, and I’m so grateful for her presence in my life. I’m truly looking forward to her guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this wedding journey.
Groomsman
Michael came into our lives through Ori, and what started as a simple introduction quickly grew into one of our closest friendships. Some people you just instantly click with, Michael is one of those people. Over the years, he's gone from "friend of a friend" to someone we genuinely couldn't imagine doing life without. He has a way of making everyone around him feel at ease, and he always seems to know exactly what to say. But what truly sets him apart is how he's shown up for us, not just as individuals, but as a couple. His support has been invaluable to our relationship, and that's not something we take lightly. Generous, dependable, and the kind of friend everyone deserves, Michael is a true gift. Honored to have him standing with us.
Bridesmaid
Claire’s friendship has been such an unexpected blessing in my life. We met at Winners Church, and I thank God for connecting us. She has been my prayer partner, my beauty guru, and one of the most compassionate and empathetic people I know. Claire has a special way of making people feel seen, supported, and deeply cared for, and I am so grateful for her presence in my life. I’m beyond excited and honored to have her standing by my side on such a special day.
Groomsman
Daniel and I bonded the way the best friendships do: over our shared love for the beautiful game. Somewhere between the matches, the debates, and the highs and lows of supporting our teams, a real friendship took root. What started through Ori has grown into something deeper. Over time, Daniel has gone from friend to family, simply part of the fabric of our lives now. Loyal, genuine, and always good for a laugh, he's the kind of person who shows up when it matters most. Truly like family, and we're honored to have him standing with us.
