Fly into Wenatchee, drive 40 minutes to Sun Cove community in Orondo. Note: This is a small airport with two incoming and two outgoing flights a day!

Sun Cove Shuttle
We will have a Sun Cove resident utilizing his party bus as a shuttle within Sun Cove Community, and to and from Sun Cove and Desert Canyon for the wedding night. This shuttle however will not go to and from Chelan or Wenatchee. If you are planning to stay in Chelan or Wenatchee, plan to have a rental car and designated driver to and from events!

Orondo
Staying in Orondo! If you have a larger group of friends attending, we recommend renting one of the 12 short term rental properties in Sun Cove, the community where the wedding will be held! You may reach out to the bride or groom for the list of rental properties, or look online at places like Airbnb. There is also a hotel about 5 minutes away from the wedding weekend, Desert Canyon Lodge! Unfortunately, the lodge does not have any single rooms available for our weekend. The available units include: the penthouse that can sleep 6, four bedroom casitas that can sleep 8, and two bedroom casitas that can sleep 4. There are also RV sites! If you do not have a larger group and are looking for help getting into a house in the neighborhood, contact the bride or groom and we will do our best to place you with a group in Sun Cove!

There are many places to stay in Chelan if you are looking to stay in town. Note: Uber and Lyft are not found in Orondo and there will not be a shuttle to and from town, so be prepared to have a designated driver too and from events.

Ways to Enjoy the Weekend
Places to visit in Central Washington! If you are looking to turn your trip into a vacation or want to fill some downtime, here are some places we recommend! Lake Chelan is a beautiful lake community with lots of wineries to visit! Wenatchee a town along the Columbia River with lots of yummy restaurants! Just past Wenatchee is our little bavarian town of Leavenworth nestled in the Enchantments or Cascade Mountains. Window shop or hike, whatever your heart desires! If you are staying in Sun Cove you would have access to the communities amenities including pickleball courts, basketball courts, a swimming pool as well as river access and a beach! Fair warning, the Columbia River water is chilly! If you decide to stay at Desert Canyon, you will have access to the golf course and resort pools!
