Maid of Honor
Grace and Baily met on the first day of their freshman year at Shenandoah University as across-the-hall neighbors. After a series of various roommates, Grace & Baily finally roomed together. This was the start of many adventures over the years such as teaming up to learn to drive stick shift, mass producing mini cupcakes from their dorm room, and dressing awkwardly for luaus.
Louise
Bridesmaid
Louise is the Marianne to Grace’s Elinor, the Ana to Grace’s Elsa. As the little sister, Louise has had a front row seat to all the ridiculousness in Grace’s life and likes to team up with Kyle to rag on her (it’s well deserved). Louise is always up for impromptu adventures and listening to Justin Timberlake and Fleetwood Mac on repeat.
Lara
Bridesmaid
Grace & Lara have known each other since they begrudgingly played extra orphans in the musical Annie in the 7th grade. The two peas in a pod rebelled by watching Spongebob and behaving like lunatics backstage. Lara is affectionately known as Grace’s “twin” due to their tendency to dress alike and tower over all of their other friends in high school.
Kristine
Bridesmaid
Kristine is Kyle’s older sister, who he adores. She did her best to keep him out of trouble growing up but a girl can only do so much. While visiting Kristine in Nashville, Kyle told Grace that they could only continue to date if Kristine’s beloved German Shepherd, Tucker, approved of her. Luckily, Tucker did approve and so did the rest of the Oppenheim family.
Josh
Best Man
Kyle and Josh met in middle school, and their bond evolved from friendship, to roommates, to brothers. Despite Grace initially being wary at how close they are, she eventually came to terms with their unique connection, gaining a brother in Josh along the way (despite being wrong about Tinker Bell).
Kevin
Groomsman
Kyle and Keefer met through AKL at VCU, becoming brothers and best friends. They have always stuck by and supported each other, creating mountains of inside jokes and competitions (many Halloween related), with Keefer being instrumental in the success of Kyle and Grace’s 1st (unofficial) date.
Jacob
Groomsman
Kyle and Jacob become friends in Mr. Edward’s Physics class Junior Year, somewhere between sleeping through lectures, ordering chinese food to their desks, and creating awesome presentations (MENERGY!). They have stood by, advised, and shut down mexican night clubs alongside each other, to say nothing of their future plans.
Thomas
Groomsman
Kyle and Thomas also met through AKL at VCU, back when Thomas would request chili-smothered taquitos from the local 7-11. Once that particular impulse had been tamed, they also completed the JCO academy together at Bon Air, and although their professional lives have since separated, their friendship has only strengthened.
